Switched to nPhone 2 from Iphone XS, there are still things that are annoying to me with Android (navigation gestures, search tab which doesnt allow me going immediately to settings section that i want to get to and all apps section in general) but man, im so in love with this phone!! It's so amazing and refreshing because I never used daily anything better android related than poor J5 2016. I managed to get this boy for 490 dollars (eu taxes)

The voices in my head screamed for Nothing Phone 2 as i used OnePlus 6T and 10T too... honestly Oneplus ain't the same like before... i mean i sold 10T in just 6 months as no optimisation in my daily life activities like Android auto and other apps. I switched back to 6T and waited for the reviews for Phone 2 to come out and finally bought it... happy with the optimisations and loving the UI.

I used the OP6 and switched to Phone(1) when it launched and passed it to my kid and bought the Phone(2) when it launched, absolutely an amazing phone though I use a pixel 6a as my secondary, going to get the 7a just for photos but still gonna use thr phone(2) as my main! I had Oneplus 8t and I wanted Oneplus 11 or Nothing Phone 2, despite that Oneplus 11 is slightly better and has a charger in the box, I went with NP2 because in my country 12Gb with 256Gb variant was 585$ taxes included, while OP11 16Gb with 256Gb wasn't less than 868$. So it was an easy choice. Almost 300$ difference.

@@andrewshrimp2608 I don't like that big circle of the camera in OP 11 either. Until now I had no issues with NP 2, works very smoothly. I really like the flat screen (I don't like curved screens that much). Although it is said that it is a gimmick, I use glyphs interface a lot, especially at work. One of my friends has an OP 11, about a week ago he received an android 14 update and is having problems with battery drain and some bugs, is not very happy about it, he was an OP user, then switched to Samsung S21 ultra, then OP11, and said that is not how it use to be. I don't regret the switch, and I'm very happy with my choice, I don't miss anything from my old OP 8T, maybe the alert slider a bit, it was a nice feature.

I trust Carl Pei to do a better job with Nothing over the long term than OnePlus. I currently own a OnePlus 6T and the company basically nerfed the camera in the past 2 years with a terrible (and final) software upgrade, so I have to find another camera app the OnePlus 6T is so crippled. I expect that OnePlus will descend into Oppo mediocrity in its OS over the next few years so Nothing is the better horse to bet upon over the longer term (my OnePlus 6T is 5Y old and I got it because Oxygen OS offered an ability to disable the new & clumsy (at first) Android gestures interface).

Camera is a little bad on Nothing but the early OnePlus (I have a OnePlus 6T) also had cameras a little bad, too (not horrible .. just not very competitve with Apple, Google, Samsung which dumps tens of millions into their cameras). The tests I've seen indicate that Nothing 2 phone over-saturates and over-contrasts their images for more "pop" but then you lose shadow detail. I am betting they will fix these mistakes in the camera, hopefully soon.

User experience is all that matters when using your phone normally apart from the intensive apps. Nothing phone 2 is the best. I sold my 11r to get this nothing phone 2. Don't go along with the reviews alone . Because we never know what their standard/view of not good and good means. Unless u use it for urself u won't really understand a phone. Op11/11r are good but not good as NP2 ....OP11has telephoto cam which is a plus POINT along with an alert slider and a snapdragon 8gen 2. The 11r on the other hand has an IR blaster additional but 8+ gen 1 same as the NP2. for a daily driver NP2 IS BEST. OP 11 May be for the 8gen 2.. .. 11r may be for the IR blaster/curved glass cam sucks. Don't worry about charging speeds. NP2 charges about the same rate of OnePlus 9r. While using nothing charger 45w

@@nirmaldas2242 Yes and no. From my personal perspective, I can still rock it with no issues. It's fast, fluid, mostly stable. I do have an issue with darker subjects and a weird glow. XPAN is somewhat slow to correct exposure, the battery has been excellent, unless I take an insane amount of photos. Anything specific you'd like more specific info on?

There is something wrong with Oneplus 11's battery. Even though it got 5000 bla bla, battery drains like crazy especially when using network data. My OP11 battery literally drained from 90% to 78% in about 38 minutes while using network data, no my 5g is off and 4g is on.... what the hell?

I have OP 11 in Finland for now 3-4 Month but battery is amazing for me , one day easy battery in full potential , music 8 hours , social media 3 hours, games 2 hours , is the best phone for me ! Always open 5G data conection and bluethoot maybe you have a bug or a problem device !

UK here, to be honest i really wanted to get the Nothing phone 2, really like the minimalistic look of the interface, but in this black friday oneplus 11 is on offer and even cheaper than the Nothing phone 2 and i am trying to be pragmatic (particularly that it is getting such good reviews) so will probably go for the oneplus 11 ... Unfortunately it is the 8/128 model that is in offer, other wise would have gone for the bigger storage

I also ordered from amazon uk, 478 pounds, delivery fees included, a bargain! In Romania the best price is like 600 pounds. The only complaint is indeed the 128 gb storage but otherwise it has everything I need from a phone another 5-6 years (just like my old 1+ 5T). Can't wait to get my hands on it :D

Yes! I really wanted 256 but big difference in price and was a good deal to buy it at that price. The other thing it is really slippery! Everyone mentioned it but they say "a bit" slippery! Nooo it just slides off my hand but with a cover on the phone you won't even notice. The other thing i am not a big fan probably because i am not used to it is the curved screen. But otherwise i really like it!

I already ordered the ringke fusion x camo case for it, because I really like how it looks like an army android :)). I was considering the Nothing Phone 2 since I like the flat screen and flat edges, but I also grabbed the OnePlus 11 Black Friday deal. I did want at least 256gb storage, but realistically I'll be fine with 128gb. That should NEVER be the reason to buy the phone. Hardware matters not. The original MacIntosh had very feeble hardware and incredible software! Software is EVERY THING and Carl Pei knows how to write and find good software (like cyanogen in 2011).

Carl vs Pete ....og Oneplus users will know who they are, I got the 11 16gb went from find x2 pro from oppo .... Oxygen os is colour os without the name , more bloatware than OnePlus used to come with, also I noticed I feel like the power saving of this phone is holding it back a little too much even with power saver off, high performance mode is tapping in 70% potential and power saver only 30% , also noticed game space limits a lot too even in championship mode, plus power saver in that heats up more than balanced, play carx streets it's the most demanding game I know of using 6gb of ram just to run and it really shows how much power saver on/off and high performance are efficiently using the resources and limited. Great phone tho best spatial sounds on a phone , still wonder whys it's only IP64 and not flagship ip68 , ps charging overnight with smart charge gets you 80% but then it takes roughly 9 minutes till fully charged , rapid charge is available for 100w

Nothing phone relies on gimmicks. Take those away and you're left with something very average that looks like a knock off iPhone. I'm not a huge fan of the curved screen on the OP but it still takes the win for me by a mile.

Now this is where you are wrong. OnePlus (and Nothing) focus on something very important : fast charging, battery life, and the phones never overheat. I have had LOTS of problems with ALL previous google phones in this area! My pixel 1 over heated OFTEN, died quickly, the Nexus 5 chugged power FASTER than the wall adapter could provide it! To make a fantastic phone you have to make 25 things work smoothly and you can blow only ONE area before it's a terrible phone - OnePlus (whose founder left to start Nothing) knows how to do this, and very few other companies can do it, not even Google !!

Great and detailed video. I myself was debating whether I should pick up OP11 or NP2. But since they both the same price OP11 simply offers more. But now I have different problem. Currently I have OP Nord 2 which I bought for 200 euros. It's a great phone that and I don't feel like I miss anything. I can get OP11 for 500 euros, but I don't know if I will get phone so much better it's worth paying 2,5 times more.

You know I think for most of us a mid-range phone would be fine I think the only thing that maybe that flagship has that so much better is the camera I think the Nord 2 comes with a Qualcomm 695 and so it probably runs great still I was tempted to get to Nord 2 actually myself but it's a little too big of a phone for my liking

The OnePlus 11 is the ugliest phone I've ever seen! They used to be so beautiful. That 7 pro was in a league of its own.

I vote for nothing 2, OnePlus doesn't work for me anymore, it damages your phone with updates with green lines on the screen, the battery doesn't last the same, etc ☝️

With all the OnePlus phones I’ve had over the years not once have I ever experienced this “green line” everyone talks about. But, hey. Nothing Phone 2 is awesome

I had oneplus 9. Now i have oneplus 11 and I have never experienced any greenline issues.
