Nothing Phone 2 vs. OnePlus 11: Competition at $599!

To me the key differentiator between the two is the OS. Color OS doesn't know what it wants to be whereas the Nothing OS is clearly aimed at people looking to moderate their use on their mobile devices and endless doom scrolling.

In this battle..1 thing that make me choose the Nothing Phone 2 over the OnePlus is camera design..the camera design on the OnePlus is ugly.. I'm not a camera guy so the simple camera design like in Nothing Phone 2 is much more nice looking for me..

I had the 11 for a month and I loved it. Returned it cause it was restricted on my carrier. Even used the 10 pro for a week but got black listed instantly. OnePlus makes some good phones and unlike a lot of fans I enjoyed their operating system. Might be because I went from iPhone to android though.

yea but the oneplus 11 doesnt have a 512gb international option. the only reason i didnt rush to upgrade from my op7 pro

Ended up getting the OP11, but I'm a bit disappointed about the build quality. Tapping on the screen above the battery causes a lot of resonance for me in the phone. Oddly enough I ended up loving both the camera for night shots, and the software. Will have to return it because of the build though. Out of curiosity, does yours have anything like this going on? Mostly happens when I accidentally tap a bit harder to wake the phone for example

Software was horrible when I got mine, but having gone through months of OS updates in like 3 days, most of the quirks I noticed got ironed out

One thing everyone misses out is how well the OnePlus 11 is ergonically designed compared to other phones which are huge and boxy. The lean design of the OnePlus 11 is very appealing and feels very good in hand.

It's quite different. Performance wise, it's about the same...build it's a lot different. I prefer the ThinkPhone in a lot of areas...especially battery life and build...but they are all very close.

Cracked my back glass 😔 on my OP 11 idk what happened or when it happened it's on the top left corner along the camera frame and OnePlus wasn't selling it the phone replacement shops here where I am in Florida so I brought a new one off eBay directly from Shenzhen and then I'm gonna pay a shop tech to replace it in an hour vs my insurance paying for the repair but still charging a 75 dollars for a deductible I'll gladly pay 90 dollars and get it fixed in like an hour vs resetting my phone and mailing it to OnePlus and waiting 2 business weeks...

Pixel for the money currently. If you like new designs and being different than those around you it’s definitely Nothing 2. After using both the two main differences I’ve noticed are battery life= Nothing 2 and nighttime/dark surrounding pictures= Pixel. I myself am definitely not a professional photographer so for me I went with the Nothing 2 hopefully this helps you make a decision.

As far camera gose seen many comparison in twitter bettwen this two 11 is simply better brighter shadow better dynamic range and as far as night mode 11 is mile better just too much noise in N2 phone But as far as software nothing has great fun to use features

@@tluanga31 nothing os is buttery smooth, and the updates keep coming, the good thing is Nothing is listening to their customers feedback. The battery management on this device is beast!. People say their camera is bad but their camera is way way better now compared to the OS it was released because of the recent August update. For now, people are staying away with oneplus because of the recent screen issues (they dont address it officially) still keep coming up to this date.

We can review this again next year. There's no way the Nothing 2 is better than the OnePlus 11. I am in agreement with most of your assessments, except this one. I think the glyphs are a gimmick. The glyphs remind me of those kids sneakers with the flashing lights on the bottom. Nothing 2 seems like a kids phone. With all due respect. I also can't stand the ringtones on the Nothing 2. They are incredibly annoying. I never had a problem with my OnePlus 11 as far as restarting by itself. I believe Carl Pei is trying to copy Apple to a certain extent.

Personally, I will choose the OnePlus 11, If I want a black and white interface and icons, themes exist for that. And honestly, I find the OnePlus 11 better in photo-video. For battery 🔋, just put the OnePlus 11 in FHD like this Nothing Phone 2 🤷🏽‍♂️ A year of Android update and security in addition, counts in the balance ⚖ for me, especially, a more powerful processor, which in 2-3 years will mark a real difference.
