In short: I have OP 12 16/512 and OP 13 hasn't gone far, meaning not a leap, in order to consider the upgrade. OP 12 is simply great, OP 13 is good upgrade if you have money and OP 11 or lower, else 12 is better option all-in-all. Will wait for OP "next" to make an upgrade and hope it will have Elite 2 along with substantial camera modules upgrades. Yes, please make it lighter along with smaller camera bumps. Just my thoughts.

Honestly the main reason why I upgraded from my 12 even though I really didn't want to was because of the IP68 and IP69 rating. Those two inclusions on the 13 were my main selling point as I work in an environment that is constantly wet from either sanitization, high temperature water from hoses and cleaning jets or meat production blood. All of those tend to cover me and my co-workers to some degree and I'm not going to take any chances especially when our business and production counts have increased to the point where it's just wet constantly. So having a phone that was able to withstand a lot of that was a really important thing for me. Thankfully I ended up being able to sell my OnePlus 12 in all of the accessories I had for it for close to its retail price so I didn't end up paying a whole lot for the 13 in the end. I don't mind the curve screen of the 12 but I'm hoping with the micro curved screen on the 13 that some companies will make relatively decent tempered glass as I miss having a glass screen protector

I had the OP 11 then upgraded to OP 12 immediately HOWEVER I did not feel like the upgrades in 13 were that much significant. Cameras didn't have much, the chip while so far better have very minimal applications, basically if you're not gaming that hard there's no reason for the elite chip also the battery maybe 6000 mah, it feels kinda irrelevant when you charge your phone for 25 mins everytime. I do love how it looks though and the flat screen is superior to me. I hope the OP 14 keeps the design of the OP 13 but have massive upgrades on camera (200MP and maybe just maybe a better telephoto with 6x optical zoom), and I hope the back design would integrate the planet limited edition designs like the jupiter rock which I had on OP 12, but give apus neptune or Uranus because of the blue

I'm rocking OP 12, I dont see a reason to jump into the OP 13. The upgrades are decent & noticable but I'll skip til next release. Yes it's got: *bigger battery *Better ips rating *Better fingerprint sensor * Some camera tweaks/upgrades. A more refined 12 basically. Key differences in my opinion, but not enough. The 12 is a beast and is still VERY hard to beat. Also... Well . After seeing numerous reviews & seeing a 13 in person - the camera on the OP 12 stands out more as the winner.

OnePlus 12 is such a premium design. Even with the SoC it has better calibration and thermal management compared to Snapdragon 8 Elite on OP13, Faster yes! But not efficient as OP12. The OnePlus 13 is a "pretty good deal" in Asia and despite the fact (which I deplore) that OnePlus is increasing the price of this OnePlus 13 by $100/100€-150€ in the USA and Europe, it is clearly a better deal than the Pixel 9 Pro XL, however, it will not necessarily be a better deal than the S25 Plus unless Samsung also "massively" increases the price of its S25 Plus, and even if the price of the S25 Plus increases, Samsung will have the advantage of being available at 99% of carriers (deals). Like the OnePlus 12 last year, this OnePlus 13 will make a lot of noise on the internet, but will sell even worse than the OnePlus 12 because of its price increase 🤷🏽♂️ Ps: and yes, contrary to what many media and youtubers want people to believe, the camera 📸 equipment of the OnePlus 13 (especially the ultra-wide angle and the 3X zoom) is a real regression compared to that of the OnePlus 12. 🚶🏽♂️ 🚶🏽♂️ 🚶🏽♂️
