Excuse me, I found that the battery of Coolpad note 5 4000mah might be able to fit in the OnePlus 5t since both have icp5/64/77 written which might indicate the size. Could you make a video where you try to mod the battery to fit inside the OnePlus 5t. If it works I will try it too

Wast of time - there is no need to detach motherboard (top side screws), instead you better take the speaker (bottom side screws) off. I have just done it yesterday.

Changed the battery according to the video, battery works fine but when I try to open the camera it says "unknown error" and won't open at all.

Same, after replacing the battery the camera no longer works and give the message "failed to open camera". I didn't unplug the camera.

it's not shown on the video, that the front camera in my case is strictly attached to the frontplate, so it is only possible to detach the motherboard by ungluing the film from the back of the camera. This also means the motherboard connector will detach from the camera. So when you assemble motherboard back - you need to push harder below the camera for the connector to attach properly, then screw it tight on the sides

What a waste of battery! The battery can be fixed easily and don't have to be removed and replaced. If the RED ALERT appears on the one plus phone "battery is too low" and has 0% charge line, you need to connect your phone to charger (or even better some usb like in pc/laptop device) and press and hold power button for more than 20 seconds, keep holding until the red alert will disappear (you should feel vibration few times and red alert showing on and off few times as well). Finally your phone after a short time (30-50 seconds?) will start charging and red alert will gone. After some time (1-2 minutes?) You can try to switch it on and should turn on but do not remove the cable from usb for a while and charge the phone up to few percent before switching it to the charger.

The phone does not want to fully charge the battery when it is on. Only up to 75%. You have to turn it off to charge it up to 100%. Your video doesn't say how to fix this. What to do? There are root rights.
