Bro You just Forget one of the major highlights Of Asus zenfone 5z that it has wide angle camera which clearly beats OP6 in camera Department as you said that both have similar camera... Plus you can Buy Asus zenfone 5z in 26999 which is 8k less than the base variant of One plus 6... So in video you've not told the photos comparisons before and after ota update... It might also happen that you've done comparison before ota update.. I m using oneplus 3 and the best part of it is its Dash charging and alert slider which make it different and apart from other phones and also the phone performance is very smooth and awsm, i m using it from last 3 years. Before oneplus i had used the Asus zenfone 2 which have the awsm UI even till today i like that very much. Both phones are awsm but now i will go for the Oneplus 6 bcose it has something different.

OnePlus 6 is far more Superior then Asus Zenfone 5z. Here let me tell you why? Firstly, Oxygen OS is far more smooth and fast then Zen UI. It is the best feature of OnePlus phones that you just cannot compete. Zen UI tends to get slower and starts lagging after a usage of 3 months or so as it is a very heavy skin so, it is not a phone for long term usage while the Oxygen OS on the OnePlus 6 just refuses to slow down!! Oxygen OS is just buttery smooth. Secondly, the upgrades are more in number and fast on the OnePlus 6. OnePlus 6 promises 2 major Android upgrades and 3 years of security patches while in case of Asus, it only promises 1 major Android upgrade and 1 year of security patches which again proves my point that Asus Zenfone is simply not made for long term usage. Thirdly, coming to DASH charge on the OnePlus 6!! Not only DASH charge is faster than QC 3.0 but also it does not let your phone to heat up and only charger gets the heat which also helps the device to charge at the same rate even if you are using it while charging. While in case of Asus Zenfone 5z this is not the case. It heats up a lot while charging and also its charging speed is reduced if you are continuously using it while charging. On the Fourth point, let’s talk about Camera. Asus Zenfone gives a wide angle secondary camera which is great but only 8 MP!! It’s just not enough for a wide angle shot as it does not capture as much detail as it should. Also, the Portrait on Zenfone 5z is not as good as in the OnePlus 6, especially with the edge detection. Selfie camera is simply no competition, OnePlus 6 has a far better selfie shooter!! On the fifth point, let’s talk about water (splash) and dust resistance. I know OnePlus didn’t give any official IP certification but other companies that do (like Samsung and Apple and Huawei, etc.) also do not claim any water damage. So, it doesn’t matter really if it is officially IP certified or not except your peace of mind. OnePlus did not get official certification to keep the price low but it is very resistive to splash and dust, and it really gives us a peace of mind whenever you are in rain or accidently drop a glass of water on your device. Lastly, let’s talk about Display. AMOLED vs IPS LCD. You already know the deal!! True Blacks and extremely vibrant and poppy colors on the AMOLED panel of OnePlus while you know that LCD panel cannot compete with AMOLED even though the one on the Asus Zenfone 5z is one of the best!! Similarly, when you turn off the notch (if you want to), the screen besides the notch that is turned off, seems true black in case of AMOLED screen. And also AMOLED panel is much expensive as compared to an IPS LCD panel. That’s why OnePlus is a little more expensive but it’s totally worth it.

Paying 5k less with no future proofing ( only android 9) is pain. If u want phone for media consumption go for 5Z as it has better speaker.

Hi I bought new Asus Zenfone 5z its awesome. But seen one issue with it proximity sensor other wise its working normal during call but when connecting to fm after that proximity sensor not working during the call but proximity sensor passed test even after that but disbale during call. Please guid me through it I already updated to Pai and aslo try with factory reset.
