I have some tips to get the amazing battery life, go to settings then go to apps and notifications select an app for eg Facebook then scroll to advanced and then scroll to battery optimisation and select optimise... do this for all the apps

I got amazing results for 7T. I visited 9 countries for 30 days in Europe and Videos and Shots were just amazing. I brought this at launch and very next day started travel. Got an update in 15 days , solved few issues for wide. Camera but still many bugs. Cons are - 1) Bugs for Wide Camera (Most of the times, Pics were blurred for Portrait ) 2) Proximity Sensor is not working at all. While calls random touches are happening by own with ears. **EDIT** My Phone was replaced by One Plus, since it had proximity sensor issue (Hardware Issue - Proximity Sensor is integrated in Screen)

That's because it has no proximity sensor. It uses AI to predict your ear while talking.

I love my Oneplus 7T until I did video recordings and realized that the audio in those recordings were awful- overly compressed, horrible sound to noise ratio. The sound was definitely worse than my Pixel XL 3A that I had before. Maybe some people don't care about sound, but if you use it to record performances or recitals you will be disappointed. Is the Oneplus 7pro audio any better or is it about the same? I decided to purchase the USB-C Shure MV88+ microphone and this helped the situation immensely- BUT it was an additional $250 expenditure. Nice update video- good job!

I don't think recording on the 7T is that bad. Most of my calls went thru very well and no one has complained that my voice sounds muffled or unintelligible.

Lambda Storm it doesn’t sound muffled, it sounds as if the audio levels aren’t turned up enough. It’s only an issue on the recording, audio and video sound, the calls don’t seem to have an issue. I record video of my daughter all of the time, with iPhone 8, LG G8, pixel xl 2, pixel xl 3a, LG V20 and out of all those devices the one plus 7T had the worst audio recording. I love the phone other than that, and it prompted me to get the Shure mv88+ microphone which is much better setup for recording performances anyway.

Wycliff Studios I realize you can possibly improve it in post, but why should you need to? The audio is so compressed it sounds like an 64Kbps mp3, not quite sure why, but there is a video on KZbin that perfectly demonstrates the bad audio of the one plus 7 pro compared to I think like a Samsung S 10. So I’ve realized the one plus 7pro and the one plus 7t both have the same audio issues when recording video. There’s really no excuse for a phone of this caliber to record audio that poorly.

Watching in my oneplus 7t🥰 Prob i faced are- 1. The speaker on the top stopped working. Although it started working aftr giving my phone a restart. But why it stopped working in the first place 2. Focus on low light. I was using the night scape mode and trying to focus on the name but it didnt work. 3. Image quality in the gallery. Its like it looks good when u are clicking the pictr. Then when u see it in gallary. Its not upto the mark. I feel pictrs gets saved in less pixels. 4. When in nightscape u are taking pictr of people it turns out very wired. With line on the face. Apart from these the phone is grt. Pubg works smoothly. Display sound too grt. Battery last upto 1 day. Charges supremely fast. Loving it.

Using the OnePlus 7T since 18 days now. I completely agree with everything Sundar said. My 7T has got 2 software updates and they have fixed camera issues and improved the overall photo quality. I get a SOT of around 6-6.5 hours on an average. Sometimes, I even get a SOT of 7+ hours

Personally, i havenot faced much of the issues that you discussed except that focusing in the night mode. That too did happen for maybe twice or thrice and was alright afterwards. The camera is definitely of supreme level. In my unit, there is no actual HDR issue. Probably the issue is in some units. Battery is an issue as it is slightly towards the lower backup but i am not a gamer so it works for me.Overall, smooth and fluent screen, best camera in the class and balanced , clear and loud sound quality. Thanks to Dolby Atmos. Really happy with the purchase. Kudos to the company. Yes, u said right, best value for money. Choose 7t over the pro model.

Thanks Vatsal! Yeah, it's Nova launcher. Since I switch between phones frequently for testing, I find it hard to setup my homescreen layout the way I want. I use Nova's backup & restore to get it done easily! Redmi Note 8 - I'll see.. haven't used it much yet! It's the best in that segment, so thought it doesn't require a detailed video😅

You had did a video regarding rhinoshield for your iphone 6. You tested it and showed us regarding its impact resistance. But that phone has a sturdy build quality i.e.metal back. Pls do a video how to save a phone with glassback. I have a OP7T , how to protect its glass front as well as its glass back from being get shattered. I am the person who often drop my phone. Suggest me impact resistant screen guard as well as a back case. Many have told in their opinion that tempered glass is better in terms of saving the mobile screen so i am in an oscillation to choose between a screen guard or a tempered glass. I couldn't believe that how a thin film like protection pro by madico, screen protector from rhinoshield, would protect a phone's display from getting shattereded. Pls suggest me a one.

Btw, I'm using my OP7T for close to a month now n I'm facing the issue of Tap to Wake and Lift to Wake issues, especially when the ambient lighting is low, forcing me to unlock the phone using the power button. It is true but that flickering can't be seen by naked eye as human eyes can't process that much frames, but when you record it's screen via some camera that camera will pick it up because of shutter speed, mainly it is caused due to high power being sent to display and can be fixed by a simple togle called dc dimming but one plus failed to implement it properly which might be fixed via future updates, hope u got what you asked for 😊

Hey Sundar, thanks nice video with all minute detail. I am a OP 7T user since its launched, one month now. I feel heating issues in my phone and sometimes it's battery heats up till 45-46°C. Please note that this I observe on mobile network with regular usage such as surfing, listening music during travelling period. So my concern is whether there is an issue specifically with my device or its common across and will be fixed by updates? What do you think and your comments on this.

In my opinion it's a flagship now not a flagship killer. After buying OnePlus One and OnePlus 3T I have now moved to K20 pro which I think is a flagship killer now.

why capturing videos look like laggy? video samples are not looking like smoothy.. its like, getting stuck,buffering or lagging type.. i dont get this..help me get this pls.. @Technology Jock

Better go for rog 2 Using from last 20-25 days - 120 Hz butter smooth - With heavy usage giving me around 1.5 days battery life - One of main reason for many is the presence of headphone jack ( Guys belive me I never heard good sound from any other brand like this one as it supports DTS: X ) - No notch (I hate notch display as it takes away the premiumness of phone & makes it look like budget mobile for ex- realme series) ,yes bazel is there but it's makes sense as it gives one of the best stero sound ever. - Yes ASUS can't provide software OS update like OnePlus but with these spec the upgrade android version doesn't make much sense
