One little tip, as a photographer, the closest thing to a 'calibrated' display, is to choose Advanced > sRGB and move the slider all the way to 'cool'.

@@jabss7847 Once more, I am a photographer. All my screens are calibrated. This is the way to get the best possible color fidelity on your OnePlus 7T. Even so, it will look slightly different on different screens but at least you're right on. Websites will look as they're supposed to. Compare it to the iPhone if you have a doubt. That's really close.

One of things I love about oxygen os is app locker and customisation , aside from the phone being extremely fast the other features are amazing. App locker is amazing you can lock your apps with your fingerprint or pattern , so now I have no problem with people using my phone and I know when people try to snoop around my messages. Also customisation is amazing there's basically no need to download a launcher.

Additional suggestion if you hold both volume buttons it turns on text to speech service's this will lock you out of the finger print scanner and face id unlocking and will only if you're lucky to use your PIN to unlock your device however you must hit the lock icon at the top of the screen. This can be turned off after you turn off the mode then disable the service then the button press

Okay so I'm considering upgrading to the OnePlus 7T from an older Galaxy that I've had for a long time (not a great quality phone by any means). As someone who really only understands the most basic stuff about phones (like I don't understand most of the words used in this vid lol) is there someone who could give me some simple/easy to understand answers to some of my questions about the 7T? My main concern is the camera. Does it take good pictures and videos? Like is the quality and lighting good? With my current phone videos are super dark. Also, bonus points if anyone knows how Instastories look after uploaded. My current Instastories are blurry/glitchy as hell. Does it have decent storage? My current has so many things that came already downloaded and they take up so much storage. I can't delete them, so I can only have like one app and a few photos saved. So does the 7T have storage? or are there a lot of pre-downloaded apps? Is it durable? Or is one sneeze going to cause the screen to shatter? I don't really drop my phone, but if I accidentally do, is there a good chance it's going to be okay? How is the battery? I'm not constantly on my phone, like I spend maybe less than 2 hours on it a day. So is it a long-lasting battery? For someone who wants a phone for the most basic things, like texting, taking pictures, and scrolling apps, is it an easy device to use? I'm trying to do research before buying, but all these videos are so in depth and for people who understand all this stuff. I need a dumbed down version lol. I'll be so grateful if anyone can answer my questions in simple terms!

1) the phone has a pretty good camera, thats quite good but not really good like the most expensive phones - it takes good quality photos and videos and idk about instagram 2) it has 128gb of storage, which is a lot 3) its gorilla glass 5, meaning it should survive a decent drop and be relitively difficult to crack 4) battery is about 5 - 6 hours, but with the super fast charging you wont run out easily 5) the device is easy to use and super fast 6) also the hardware inside is top of the line, meaning games will run fantastically sorry if the reply is late

I'm using the hd 1900. Using it in asia as well as used it in north America. No problem found whatsoever. Google works perfectly. Not sure about Europe. If it works flawlessly in asia other than china, it should work in your country. No band issue found in US

I also had the same question before getting my 7T. Just ask yourself these questions: - Do you value curved or flat screens? - If you got the Pro, would you love the whole screen experience more than you hate a pop-up system? - Does it matter to you that the Pro's are bulkier and heavier than the regular one? - Are you willing to pay the price difference for the extras in the Pro? (because in the end the main differences are slightly better cameras, better screen resolution -which is nice-, and a bit better battery life) I hope it might help with your decision even though I might not have helped at all by making a list of questions that you may have already asked yourself. Anyway, as for me, the regular 7T is a beast and the best phone I've ever had, although you won't make a mistake choosing one or another, I promise the OxygenOS experience is what will really make a difference!

Adaptive brightness means the phone brightness is adjusting based on the light around the phone. Dark room low brightness. Outside high/max brightness.

Also just some input on what phone to get. I'm not going to talk about the iPhone 11 because i've lost all hope for Apple products. Unless you have money to throw around i wouldn't even consider the 11. The Pixel just has a really good camera honestly. If camera is a really high priority then you should get the Pixel. Think of it like this, if you get the 7T, you give up a camera for a phone but if you get the pixel, you give up a phone for a camera.

You can do but it's not very much required as modern phones use Li-ion batteries which don't have memory. It was required for Li-Poly battery which had memory effect (you needed to charge 100% first time and once in a while and also few times you need to drain to 0 and charge to 100,once in 1-2 months). So it's correct for previous batteries. But you can do it with newer phones as it would help calibrating the battery. But not that necessary. Just for peace of mind.

First thing I did was look how to bypass TMobile crap updates. I flashed patched MSM tool to unlock bootloader without waiting. Thank God. Global firmware unlocked both IMEI but that dual sim isn't what I unlocked for. I wanted direct updates. The device also brings LTE plus to Verizon. I'm so happy. Running newer software too. No waiting. That's the first thing to do if you are a TMO variant user. If you are sim unlocked.

My OnePLus 7T just arrived yesterday. Finished setting it up today but can not get Google ASsistant (Ok Google, or Hey Google) to work. It won't work from the lock screen or even when the phone is on and unlocked. I have cleared the Google app cache, cleared the phone cache, retrained my voice (works fine if I manually hit the microphone button). OnePlus support wants me to do a factory reset which is there answer for any problem. I'm not doing that. It works perfectly fine on my ZTE Axon 10 Pro with the same apps installed. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Update: I found a half fix online under Buttons & Gestures. You can toggle to hold the power button for 1/2 second and that activates the Assistant but still no "hands free" luck yet.

Fingerprint sensor doesn't work after T Mobile employee put screen protector on my phone. I had to delete the finger print and use pin code. Not cool. The finger print reader should work with screen protectors
