Other than the SD865 with the 5G Modem and a somewhat better screen and UFS 3.0 vs 2.1 on the Samsung, for an average user it's gonna be tough call. Also, the s10 lite has a better camera when compared to the OP8 and not forgetting the sd card slot that makes moving data much easier. So I believe it's more of a personal choice.

Why do you say it's a close call .....mi 10 camera is a beast .OnePlus is not even close ...the video recording just blow the entire market .....speaking of miui it is the best in my opinion we can customise the way we want ,it has more features than any os ,and bloatware..we can delete all those apps why that is a problem for u guys. it is soo smooth and no lag in the UI...... In my usage it is a great phone.....it is worth 5k more than op8 for its camera and wireless charging

Stop being biased to over OnePlus I don't like being biased to Oxygen OS because Xiaomi officially announced that Mi10 is a flagship and won't be getting ads + how can we forget amazing 108MP camera, LPDDR 5 RAM compared to LPDDR4X on the OnePlus 8 and what about wireless charging and considerably bigger battery. I like Oxygen OS and used OnePlus's devices for a longer period of time it was good but something like MiUI on K20 was also very good and has a lot more features than Oxygen OS I didn't find it gimmicky and slower over the Oxygen OS it was very good experience so don't prejudge the UI in your own way and let the people decide which is there taste and likings and again stop being biased towards OS.

Jaeden Tee But optimisation DOES have its benefits. Albeit not game-changing, but they still give a slight edge. You don’t need to look past consoles and PC to understand what I’m trying to say. PCs have definitely much better hardware in terms of performance, but games more often than not run better and smoother on consoles than similarly-specced PCs. That’s just the way it is 🤷‍♂️.

Why are u guys being biased these days?? OnePlus has lpddr4x ram... Secondly the mi10 speakers are best on any phone out there according to DXOmark audio ratings.... It's not little better it's much better.. I will choose OnePlus 8 pro over these anyday but atleast say d truth.

I just recently switch from Samsung to Oneplus. Oxygen OS is so clean and sexy AF. Although, what I don't like about Oneplus 8 is the curved screen, absent headphone jack, and mediocre camera. Overall, the phone has great performance. It feels light but feels premium.

Well the 40k to 45k price segment has become pretty cluttered, with the S10 Lite, OP8, and the iPhone SE 2020... Would definitely love to see a comparison between these 3 devices! #beebom

Had a bad experience with Xiaomi where my Poco F1 started shorting after just a year since purchase (power button is perpetually downpressed internally without actually pressing the button). Needless to say, I'm not purchasing any Xiaomi phones in the near future for sure.
