Always buy phones with an active custom rom community. Bootloader unlocking and warrenty for it is must. My device already has 30+ custom roms and 10k+ active community members. You'll have good software experience like that and not be limited to shitty inbuilt os and even have support for upto 4-5 years.

I shifted from iPhone 7 to Nord2 recently. After using iPhone for 4 years I can say that this a faster phone ofcourse, but transfer of photos and stuff is a pain in the ass. And also instagram & snapchat works better on even old iPhones than this, it feels buggy and sluggish everytime. Plus ig scrolling was much better in my 30hz 2016 iPhone 7 than this 90hz 2021 Nord2. Not choosing any sides but saying what I felt honestly..

@Geekyranjit You missed few issues. I bought Nord 2 and facing few software annoyances. 1. Fingerprint often fails to recognize! Terrible experience. (Disable face unlock and try this) 2. OnePlus dialer missing, replace by Google Phone which opens Duo for video calls. There is no way to make LTE 4G video call! (Found a workaround, uninstall duo using adb) 3. Single touch fingerprint recognition is not present in this phone (Samsung phones are better here). I have to wake up the screen first and then keep my finger. Don't you find it to be annoying? Especially while using the phone on the go. 4. "One hand" mode feature (as in Redmi phones) should be present, but it's not! 2 reason for the need for it, 1. fingerprint sensor is lower than usual. 2. I have to adjust the phone in hand to use any app after unlocking the phone using fingerprint. This is my first OnePlus phone and honestly I didn't think I will be facing any software issue! (because OnePlus is popular for its software!). I hope, they address these issues with new updates. (raise these concerns with customer care and forum too).

purchased my OnePlus nord 2 in exchange for my Poco x2 and got an exchange price of 20k for OP Nord 2, OnePlus Nord 2 is the best looks and performance wise and the battery backup that i get is of 6.5 to 7 hr in a moderate use, I don't know about these tech creator's but OP Nord 2 primary camera is super awesome and the 65Wat charger bhai pta bhi nhi chalta kb phone charge hojata h 😂😂😂😂 Also this is the rarest and the last few devices launched by Oneplus which runs on 80% pure oxygen OS. The main question everyone now should ask is that if the functionality and software will remain same good even after 2-3 years or not. Sir, tell me one thing. If you have to use it with plastic case in fear of cracking, than what's the point of having that premium feel with glass back ? I frankly speaking, i like to use phones without cover . Company invests more in R&D to make and feel the back and not to cover it with a case. Also we purchase the phone by looking the back colour, that makes no sense if we just gonna use it with a case whole time. According to me metal or plastic is more reliable than a glass .

Front camera works fine in outdoor for clarity, and in low light it adds good about correction and works trouble free But social networking video calls like whatsapp are having a white hazy effect and we feel like we are using a lower resolution camera Not sure whether t's an app compatibility issue or not.

Today I heard that second one plus nord 2 has blasted and I'm really scared now. It's a phone that's just ok. Nothing more to it. One area where this gets hit is its battery and OP has smartly covered it up using the 65w warp charge. A bit intensive tasks like whatsapp calling on data/wifi, gaming, the drain just intensifies and also the device gets hot..yes hot! Obviously not to the point of burning but you'll notice. Everywhere you could see people praising Dimensity 1200 chipset, which is almost a flagship chipset but one feels that OP has just tweaked (or nerfed!) it a bit too much. Not noticed lags or stutters but that is at the cost of heating. Also the Colored Oxygen OS is no where near the optimization that consumers expect. Overnight battery drain is consistently between 8-10% with almost everything turned off. Even on Airplane mode! It might improve but remains to be seen. Camera, OP was never known to be a camera phone but with Nord 2 they tried. Started off by upgrading the sensor. Nice Move. But again if you are gonna use it well the aforementioned flaw just creeps its ugly head again. Saps the battery dry and it does that pretty fast! Video recording, yes it has OIS 4k this that, OP train your battery to support it well. Am no fanboy, just a Nord 2 user! I bought it after using a Huawei phone for 5 years! That freaking thing would barely break a sweat with anything that you would throw at it be it gaming (not at extreme settings but respectable sets), video recording ...with a snapdragon 625 of course. Believe me its a brand that doesn't get any credit and sad that it doesn't have a presence in India. I had to switch because 5 years took its toll on battery at least that's what I thought but now after using Nord 2 I think Huawei was putting up a great show with a meagre 3340 mAH battery. This is not a hate post just wanted to share my experience and let other prospective users know what the trade offs are. There are pros too but Ranjitji has already covered whatever there is to it. And yes I've already tried various battery saver settings floating around on the internet.

@@Hari792 No it's not 'Very Bad'. As Ranjit said, it sucks quite a bit in low light and the image appears grainy. But if u take pictures in natural light i.e during sunlight and daytime, the pictures are pretty good.

I am using oppo plus Nord 2 and i face one big network issue with Vodafone . Network continuesly switch to 3g or 2g in my area . It happens only in Nord 2 not any other smartphone.

Hey..a few cons I noticed . Firstly while charging there is nothing on display despite amoled screen capable of displaying Then there is no utilities menu under settings so an important feature like pocket mode can't be manually turned on or off Lastly the main camera when focusing on pitch black objects gives some red hue. U can try out and add to your videos. Thanx for the rest of the information on the phone

I think one plus is doing the cost cutting by putting plastic frame insted of metal to get better signal reception (i have used many phones and read about this as well that plastic frame gives better wifi,call and internet signals) and from the saved money they are giving better wifi chipsets (wifi6 support) i am not really sure about this just a personal speculation... Thanks
