Bought realme gt 2 2 months back after watching your review for 25k. The main camera stills and videos are just wow. Slight heating issue is present during extended gaming but does not get extreme. Battery backup was an issue but got solved after Android 13 and realme ui 4.0 update. Also gt series will be getting 3 os updates so the phone will not get outdated easily.

I agree. I have a pixel which gets an update every month. You dont NEED 1 update a month. Security patches is required, but i dont think there is a big critical software vulnerability every month that needs an update. And on the features side, they usually come like once every 3-4 months. thats it. During Android 12 days, the update usually brought 1 new bug evry month. 13 is very polished though. Moto experience is 95% like using pixel. I think only camera, and some small software features are missing.

Talking about the update scenario; Motorola pushes security patches once in 2 months for the edge series and once in 3 months for the G series. Major updates are pretty much delayed,but they don't push buggy updates. You will always love the motorola software experience

My personal experience.: Pros: Beautiful display (144hz, 10-bit) Day-to-day performance is just awesome (778G+ is a champ in that regard) you can play games for a bit but gets a little warm, but cools down fairly quick. Nice and loud stereo speakers Software experience is very clean as it is near to stock Android experience. There are some minor bugs but those come very rarely. (currently running on Android 13) In-hand feel is just brilliant (lightweight as it weighs only ~155g) Haptic feedback is good in my personal experience. Not as good as the competitors but still holds up. Cons: Battery For some reason, after assigning a finger in the in-display fingerprint scanner, lock screen notifications are not showing up. We need to pull down notification bar to see those notifications. When playing music in high volume, the back panel slightly vibrates. Camera performance is very average (there is a rapid inconsistent shifting in exposure while shooting videos and it's kind of annoying and unusable)(GCam mod really helped me in that regard)

Heating issue , i think its the problem with the unit u got . Y bcz.. i bought moto edge 30 in june. I experienced the same heating issue ( marked almost 41°C when checked the battery status in device help ) like u mentioned while using insta , gaming , while connected to wifi or cellular data . Returned the unit and got a replacement . Now its good.
