How do you put the volume and on and off buttons on the new screen?
@kolibanat4 ай бұрын
When the main board is removed, the way to move the button sensors is likely the same as the speaker module - heat and patience. I followed the guide completely (but hadn't glued on the back cover fortunately) and the steps for me is now: 1. Disconnect and remove the battery 2. Disconnect antennas from main board (but dont rip out the cables) 3. Disconnect main cable and lcd cable from main board 4. Remove main board 5. Move the button sensors Then reverse.

like your video, there are a few things that as a first timer, the phone is a lot more difficult to take apart if it has never been disassembled before., also the new screen case does not come with the volume and power buttons , those have to be transferred from the old phone. This is the first time I have done this, if I had not been doing surfaced mount electronics for the last 20 years, this would of kicked my butt...also the battery adhesive or mounting may change as how the new case deals with it, the kit I got came with most of the tools and adhesives built in except for the fine tape that goes over the switches. thanks for the video.

Well some replacement parts comes with the buttons and some not. it depends. If it is not there you have to transfer.Thanks..You should be able to manage. Patience is the key

@@DMR430 I agree. My oneplus nord n100 fell in a bucket full of water. I put it in rice for a day and used a heat gun. But I wasn't sure about turning it on, so I dismantled it, and it was just perfect.

Needs to mention in the title that it's for the LCD screen & frame. Waited time and the replacement screen doesn't work so I don't know if it's because I took the whole thing apart or if the screen was bad out of the box.

Could use a warning not to screw the binding clips too tight! I ended up with a pretty low-quality screen and the new screen I had spent hours to replace cracked immediately after putting the binding clips on :(

Horrible video you should of explained from the beggining this was a replacement for a lcd with the frame already attached which makes no sense either way i took so many parts out that didnt need to be taken out

Sorry about that. You have to check the video before starting a replacement.

@@DIYGeardo yeah man the thing is that it’s unnecessary to take all those extra intricate parts off you literally only need to get to the battery and after that is removed you just un do the one cable then pry the screen …
