Watches will never provide decent somnographs. Only EEG devices can do that. It's a shame that there is only the Muse S commercially available.

OnePlus Watch 2 is an amazing smart watch. I got one to use as a smart watch, and not as a fitness tracker. The battery is beyond amazing, as is the functionality when used as a smart watch. The health stats are more than adequate for everyday use. Outstanding watch. Superior quality and craftsmanship, and looks fantastic as a dress watch. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Got me a 2R and for a first device I'm happy with it. And at least battery wise it beats my wife's galaxy 7 by a long shot. Yes it's larger, but it doesn't bug out and try to measure BPM while sitting on the desk like the Samsung does.

Yep, he tested CMF watch 1, so it's interesting to see if they improved the second version in any way. Btw, Huawei bands are some of the cheapest devices on the list, though they score pretty high, so the price is not an indication of how well the device performs

I always love your videos! Everything done so detailed and scientific. Can I suggest an improvement in terms of how the results are displayed for HR correlation? As you add more devices on the graph it gets too cluttered and hard to read one device from another, perhaps consider grouping watches within every .3 or .4 correlation score? Every .1 or .2 doesn't make much difference but grouping watches together would be easier to read. If that makes sense! Anyway keep up the great job by the way, your videos helped me to purchase a value for money smartwatch!

Sorry but Garmin has been making watches that track fitness and health for more than 20 years. Nothing beats a Garmin, smartwatch or not. Sure Apple, Samsung have the majority of the market, but Garmin has the best battery and tracking systems when it comes to health and fitness. Theres a price range for all of them, but your buying quality whichever price avenue.

Curious, have you also compared step count accuracy for watches? I've just started running on an indoor treadmill and have noticed the step count on my Galaxy Watch 5 is very inaccurate, it seem to miss about 20% of steps compared to the very accurate step counter of my treadmill.

Furthermore, doctors nowadays use some odd types of connected devices such as finger pulse oximeters and so on, Huawei claims the hardware and software in their watches are also certified medical devices, I wonder if the finger pulse oximeter does a better job than the Huawei watches, i bet it does not. I am actually shocked at how shitty every device seems in terms of accuracy vs the apple watch devices. I have a fitbit luxe and guess its so so, but as Im not an apple user I dont seem to have a good alternative.. especially for sleep tracking.

When you do samsung watch/ring review do a test where you use both as they said they combine the data for more accurate results.
