Thank you so much, Bairnt for trying to bring clarity to this game. You really gave it your best but the game is still way too complex for me. The intricate but vast web of little mechanics you have to keep track of to properly play is nothing I've ever seen before. It's not just the Sentience and Domains that cause confusion but the great many little rules and exceptions to implementing the effects of each card is just not intuitive. There is no 'flow' in executing each round or naturally emergent tactic (let alone strategy) that I can see trying to navigate each event. I've never been more confused about the structure of mechanics and timing of when to use boons to avoid effects and, even though I watched the entirety of your playthrough, I am convinced the theme and narrative will lose out against the plain bookkeeping of mechanical effects. Some folks might like that but that's just not my thing. I really had high hopes for this one and genuinely root for Diemension Games to streamline their gameplay (not just clear up their graphic design) but at this point, I'm convinced that what you see is what you'll get and what we'll get is a game as messy and horrific as the visual style of the illustrations and miniatures. I sure hope all those backers are fully aware what they're getting themselves into.

Thanks not the great comprehensive comments. You touched on many things. This game has many mechanisms and looks like it can be fiddly. Diemension games in an update or lose ting to backer feedback which includes many of the things you touched on. Take a look at this updated. I applaud the painting skills of the miniatures. I will not be able to replicate such skill. Ha ha. But I do like the simple dry brushed look that highlights the miniatures from the previews on the Kickstarter page. I might try to just simply do that when this arrives. Great video! Do you think a neoprene mat would be feasible for this game?

Thank you for the complement. I think they would look great with a dry brush on them. The minis stand out really well. I’m not sure about a neoprene may. It would be cool. One for the game board and one for each conscious realm. don’t think the player dashboards would work. Unless they make an indentation for the cubes. Thanks as always for watching 😃😃👍
