Christians just love remaining in their ignorance. I remember when I was Christian and I was so ignorant and was insane believing absolute my own perceptions and what I was told and spoon fed. Then after praying to Jesus for ever and never getting heard I experienced Jesus and Allah and Islam was selected for me and to worship Allah alone , ever since that day I have been living more peacefully inwardly and toward others and overcame addiction and learned self love and compassion and am able to maintain my boundaries and discipline with my self and others. @rjsloan6987 Allahu Akbar, Allah humma barak. I can relate, overcame drinking and smoking of all forms. Left the Christian hysteria, it didn't sit right with me. And for awhile I knew, if there was any religion for me it was islam. My mother one night yelled at me for smoking by my window, told me to be a good example to my cousin and brother. I was already listening to lectures about missing salah at that time. Next day, I left the smoke, picked up salah (guided with video) and began to learn arabic everyday. Alhumdillah, I can now read arabic. I read and recite quran. Make 5 salah. Read more than I did. And I'm on Deen the best I can be. I learned early that islam is a fountain of knowledge that doesn't stop flowing, it keeps going and going. And Allah unlocked something beyond measure for me a capacity to connect with him, memorize his words by heart, and recall, and act upon it daily. I love Allah. And the Beauty of Islam.
