Superb timing. I've literally just ordered one 👍🏻 I think I remember seeing a v3 service vid on your channel too previously so thanks for that.

Great video. I watched numerous videos on this product and got so excited only to learn my bike cannot be internally or externally routed. 😢

Hi man, first I have been following your channel for a while and I totally enjoyed every single video I have watched: great stuff and very instructional, certainly teached me a lot. Do you have any bad experience with the seal on the V2? I recently got a steal on a used one and the factory seal seems a bit loose on the stanchion so I am wondering if the SFK upgraded seal is the way to go? Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work

I totally disagree, its heavy and not needed at all, bikes nowadays got fat and weird with super wide handlebars. My 10 years old Intense Spider 2 ready to ride with spd weighs 21lbs, same goes for my daughters Cannondale Scalpel. All these extra gadgets make for heavy ride. Say hi to Ada.

You joking or something? Cut the weight weening: a couple of pounds do not make a difference unless you are constantly on the limit, i.e. you either are an atlete or you are taking yourself way too serious lol

@@deinon-thanatos3701 no I am not joking, for me ist useless ballast. I am not cutting weight, there is no purely weight oriented stuff on my bikes. Its just very high quality stuff made from very good materials. My Intense for example is full XTR with ti click pedals and very nice chris king hub based wheels, titanium spokes. If I wanted to cut weight I could probably go down 2 lbs per both mentioned bikes but this would affect durability. I started mtbiking 20+ years ago and kept all my bikes along the way. Modern bikes remind me of modern cars, too big and too heavy for no good reason.

@@michaw1674 modern mtbs are far more capable than older ones, it is safe to say that a modern trail bike is superior to a 20 years old downhill bike. If you have tried a dropper seatpost and did not find it useful it is fine: I guess you just don't ride steep trails.

@@deinon-thanatos3701 if I need to be on steep part I get my ass behind the seat and I’m perfectly fine with that. I did that all my life, no issue. I tested modern bikes and find them too big, not nimble and heavy. It could be different if I just started riding, but I developed my habits over time. I live near woods and often ride trials with sand, small hills. I am in Europe and we don’t really have many bike parks like in USA. My daughter is only 14 so she is still working on technique. For her small, light and nimble 26” wheel bike is an advantage. We go to the mountains occasionally, but no dh stuff. I have my old Karpiel Armageddon with Super Monster but I’m too old for this stuff ;-) Looks great on my wall though!
