Onewheel Grocery Store Run

I give some impressions of the Onewheel along with tips and tricks as I'm picking up some things from the grocery store with my Onewheel Pint.

I’ve nosed dived my Xr doing 22mph , I looked like I was in a motorcycle crash . I got the fangs on them now . The fangs are worth the money . It saved my ass a few times pushing the boards to its limits. . Good video by the way

I never drive anywhere anymore unless it's really far away or it's the middle of winter. I prefer the bigger onewheels because they shred fast and they don't feel as twitchy to me as the pint, plus I love the extra speed. I can't wait for my new GT to arrive! I use a nice little Cotopaxi backpack for grocery store rides. Nice video man!

I love my pint! It’s great for quick runs to the grocery store and the liquor store. I got the fangs on the front too it’s a blast doing nose drags.

@@bigj5000 it is like a nosedive but you stay on the board and ride it out. It’s easier with fangs because they add small wheels in the front bumper.

This was also a great visual on how to handle the one wheel I'm traffic and around pedestrians. I gotta learn to ride it at very low speeds and not hop off. I've had my board teeter totter instead of going when trying to get on and ride right away.

Yeah man same here! I went w the pint cuz I do more city rideing but I have taken it on some off road open feild rides and it does ok. But for the most part I just ride round my city. I got 185 miles on mine and I love love love it!

I would recommend a shoe with less padding on the bottom, when I wear my tennis shoes I feel like there's less feedback like I'm riding on a foam pad thats vibrating me feet off the board especially when it gets bumpy the padding of the shoe reacts its own way to the bumps and the feeling is very weird and "numb feeling " try a flat shoe with less padding , you will feel more planted and stable also have you adjusted your tire pressure to your weight, if you have it too high it will be a very bumpy ride you want it at 10 % of your weight if your 200 have 20 psi if your 130 have 13 psi

Hope this helps and be mindful that these boards have a tendency to shut off completely randomly sometimes, the foot sensors or some other cylonoid or connect starts to fail and your board will cut off hopefully not resulting in a nosedive, be careful and get some more pads i know they look funny but this boards unpredictable and shouldn't really be trusted , I see you have fangs im waiting for mine , im at 200 + miles on my pint and have ridden through lots of puddles and even accidentally some salt water so I know my warranty is voided , and now it's at low speeds shutting off on me at sometimes gonna send it in , something to think of, u don't wanna end up brain dead of paying off expenses like elbows surgery or hip surgery,

Im 240 and the pint gave me an average 3 miles on trails and 5 on the smooth. I have the pint the punt got the XR and have zero regrets. Range anxiety is real so is the dead weight of a one wheel being carried for a mile.

There is no GT it keeps getting pushed back and the original Pint is so small underpowered battery wise and wobbly it won’t and can’t ever replace the XR. The GT if it ever arrives better be that great or the FM made a huge mistake with that one. The XR can’t be compared to the pint as it is that much better on every level…unless you’re a very small person and not very strong then it could be an issue for sure.

3:33 😂😂😂 unless you're skilled because to me "pushback" means I gotta push harder Now, you should never push through SECOND pushback. When you push past the initial pushback you can actually reach the top advertised speeds and then some. However if you're past 18 on a pint/pint x or past 20 on an XR/GT and you get "second pushback" then it's time to slow down a bit.

I highly advise new riders to go on a grassy area, & intentionally nosedive like once or twice. Then when it happens (& it will) youll know how to roll through it or run it off. Sources- doing just that & then rolling off concrete 2x while drunk doing 18mph
