Seeing how much you lock into that rear fin when pushing the wheel on edge makes me wonder if you would like to customise the fin further. No doubt more extension could make getting away from the Wheel during a bail kinda trickier but I'm still thinking rubber or dense foam to contour that rear fin over your shoe a bit more could feel more comfortable and work better? Maybe even a rear fin with a big old spacer so that it would extend your stance back a bit from the fender like a few inches??

@FlameTongue6 жыл бұрын
good to know man, i'm still bit new and trying to deal with 15 mins riding feet fatigue, any tips?
@BillStrathearn6 жыл бұрын
@@FlameTongue there are two factors that go into tired feet. The first is a shoe that is too squishy. A firm sold shoe like one that is specific two skateboards or a Barefoot shoe is your best bet. II and probably most important factors foot position. I would experiment around with different positions and see which one is most comfortable for you. I personally tend to ride with my back foot tucked up against the fender and my front heel against the fender and my toe further out toward the front of the board. This allows me to turn my hips a little bit and get more comfortable with my neck not turned so much
@FlameTongue6 жыл бұрын
thanks for the tips Bill, guess my shoes are half size too big.
@Lurch6854 жыл бұрын
@@FlameTongue honestly, I have the same issue. I lost function of my calves from nerve damage and have been slowly healing and rehabilitating myself, and my Pint has been instrumental in that. The biggest things are, like Bill said, footwear and foot placement. I like a more alpine stance with my back foot angled 45° and my front foot roughly the same. Gives me more stability when the terrain is uneven. I find my biggest problem to be when the pavement is uneven, or grass, gravel, dirt trails, etc. - it’s so wobbly on my Pint that I can’t ride! Still looking for a solution to that. Regarding foot/leg fatigue, simply practice practice practice. I used to have to stop every 10 minutes or so to going 5+ miles without stopping.

Jeff Zahnd Yes.... and no. There’s plenty you can do without fins. Onewheel is still the best thing ever without fins. Fins DO add a ton of control though, especially at high speeds and when floating over bumps/roots, etc. They expand what’s possible, and are therefore super rad.
