That reveal at the end was 🤯. A new game by a dev I'm following is the best kind of news. Already wishlisted both. Just wanted to say that i like your videos, i love the shoutouts to other devs at the end, and you are doing great ♥

That means a lot to hear! Thank you so much. I'm always happy to prop up projects or devs I like.

Watch out on the AI generated art, steam is being strict on games which have it, I'd hate to see this game not make it cause of it!

Can't wait for this amazing game. And how much are you thinking of charging?
@CaiusNelson Жыл бұрын
Depends on the final product. $20 will be the absolute minimum. If I can get everything to the level of quality and quantity that I reasonable hope I can, somewhere around $30-40.

I just released the demo for my game and it took me 5 years so...I'm not saying you should take example from me but you can take your time, you don't have to rush a demo just to have a demo. especially with such an ambitious project.

Hey! Game's looking amazing so far. I would love to get in touch to discuss how I can contribute to the growth and promotion of your game and help you improve your online presence. You seem to have a lot of potential and you definitely deserve more visibility!

Hey Caius, been following yall for a while. I dunno if you would consider doing this, but it would probably help a lot of people (me) if you went over how you set up and architected your systems, such as the battle systems inventory systems dialogue etc, in CPP and to a lesser extent blueprints. If not, do you happen to know any good resources that helped you figuring it out how to set up various rpg systems in UE? Im going over the ARPG example again, and am going to look at some other example projects, so if you have any good suggestions for project examples, tutorials, and resources for rpgs specifically let me know. Heck if you half heartedly did a video course on how you architected all of the code, I would buy it :D. I am currently going through Tom Loomans CPP course to iron out my UE cpp knowledge gaps, and that is helping a lot in figuring out how to code these systems. TL:DR Please recommend any good resources. =D Also I get the strrraaaaaaaaaange feeling you might be a Tales fan based off of your Omega framework modules and the title screen stuff from your current project. I just started replaying Vesperia for the 5th billionth time, and have ashamedly played every game, including all the bleh J only side games(even that PSP fighting game ugh). Thanks in advance, and looking forward to Circle of Orion.

How hard is it to package a game like yours on a steam deck?
@CaiusNelson Жыл бұрын
As long as you're doing it through steam, not that hard honestly. You can use a standard Windows build. The main issues are you have to adjust some launch settings in Steamworks, and then it's just about optimizing performance and controls.

Do you have an estimation on release date?
@CaiusNelson Жыл бұрын
Afraid not. Still far too early in development. However, I personally like to release it next year if possible.

Good catch. Thanks.

at 7:04 too. It's really not the kind of thing you should worry about now though. since you gonna have to go through editing and spell checking the whole thing at some point before the release anyway.
