It's quite impressive that you're already boarding the replacement aircraft only one hour later. Excellent job VA! On UA, we would still be sitting on the broken plane listening to the bogus announcements about how the plane will be leaving in the next 20 minutes while the crew are packing up their bags because they know so well that they're timing out and the pax are no longer their problem.

HAHA I was actually thinking whether we'll have different crew because of that issue but turned out- same cockpit and cabin crew after all those tiny dramas. Kudos to VA!!

It’s amazing planes don’t break down more often because they’re always flying. It wouldn’t be a Jayden video without the coat hooks in the shower room. Here in the US they would have shut off the water to the shower because nobody would listen if they told you not to use it. As always, great video!❤️👍✈️

Hi Diane! Yes I am as amazed as you are. I flew to Port Lincoln on a Qantas dash8-300 during the weekend, I looked up on flightradar24, the aircraft does like 8+ flights a day!

Agree that the delay was poorly communicated with passengers once back in the terminal which is sadly often the case. You`re lucky with your flights lately Jayden in terms of travel restrictions. I have made four attempts to get to Sydney in the past year, and every time I`ve had to cancel because of a COVID outbreak there. I would hate to have to end up in hotel quarantine upon returning to Queensland. I think Tasmania or the ACT are probably the safest destinations at present, or else I should just take a break within Queensland.

NSW was very stable , but in between somehow cases rise, then decrease in few days. Yea, ACT and Tasmania have been very safe as well as QLD.

I am quite lucky this year, in fact no covid disruptions to my trips, but one time I went to Brisbane, and then they went into a lockdown, SA Health tracked me down and made me do 3 tests haha. But no isolation required which was nice. Maybe go to NZ 😝

Hi Jayden. A good thing there was a spare plane "hanging around" ...pardon the pun. That was quite along run on the takeoff too. Definitely used all the runway. A different sound too from those engines on takeoff ! I can just imagine the towtruck guy telling his boss " I broke the plane"😂. That would be a big wrap over his knuckles I think.....I can imagine the repair bill wouldn't be cheap , either💰💰💰....and off to a " learn to drive a towtruck course" 😂

Yep and good thing was that the spare plane also had boeing sky interior! It was a very full flight even in business and economy x so not surprised they used the whole runway! I also wondered what happened to the tow truck guy🤣 poor man!!

The mushroom treatment of cattle on Virgin and Jetstar really grinds my gears. They don't seem to have worked out a bit of communication helps immensely

Excellent video as every Thursday, Jayden! Love Thursdays mostly because of your videos. I'm not an engineer as well 😅, but maybe it was a technical issue. VH-YFL also, had landing gear problems in the past. The takeoff from Sydney airport, was spectacular and beautiful as always,love that city so much. Was your girlfriend on her phone the whole flight 😂, your obsession about the coat hooks amazes me! Adelaide CBD also looked nice, especially Adelaide Oval which looks stunning in night. CFM56 spool up is something 😍 Beautiful mood lighting on B737 as always

I'm glad you're loving Thursdays haha!! Interesting, it's like one of the MH A330s, forgot which one exactly, but ground crew hate it because it always has issues haha. I was probably on the phone more than her because I was filming around 😂

@@JaydenWong Yep, you were filming but whenever you pointed out the camera to her, I always saw her phone was on 😂 Yep, probably cant watch the video, at the time you upload this week, as I have exams going on, but at that time, its 1 hr break. So hopefully, gonna be there and watch it later. I flew on a Sri Lankan A330, 2 years ago, or so and it had a sound always coming from the landing gear, thankfully I got the same aircraft as return from Malaysia, that was also exactly the same A330, and I googled it, and that also had a landing gear problem, in the past but it was fixed. Do you prefer A330, or B777? Me 777 anyday, love that most

I know how much it is torturing you not to be able to take your regular showers in the lounge bathrooms! 😎 Cute and funny coincidence with all three people in your row crossing their legs! Lucky for everyone there was a spare aircraft available for the flight, and cheaper for the airline than putting everyone up in Sydney overnight. Not a bad flight, even considering the delay, and they made curfew. But what would have happened if they didn't? Curious...

Can’t wait for the towels to make a come back so we can shower!! My friend and I were lowkey hoping for another night in Sydney😁 We didn’t have enough time in Sydney after all, such an amazing city!! Sydney and Adelaide both have curfew, so my conclusion is if we couldn’t make it to Adelaide, Sydney is also a no-no, so then divert to Melbourne! My friend and I discussed about that too and we were hoping for that😍🤣🤣

the plane you flew on (the second time) VH-YFC 737-81D is a rare plane because it is the only "81D" in the world, 81D AKA VH-YFC used to be owned for ansett australia ;)

Drag. Having to change planes. Part of flying though. 🤷🏼‍♂️ You got the exit row. In case you hit a wrong button and the wing goes. 😂😂😂 The Tai beef salad looked great. 😋 Massive hukes at the lounge. 😮 Regarding the problem with the plane you had to leave : The front wheels were turned too sharp and damaged the landing gear, is what I gathered. A safety feature to stop this from happening, failed to do its job. Sweet night departure. Lit winglet and flashing strobe light. Then the shiny lights of Sydney. Beau was there! Hey Beau. Lol 😀

That's kinda disappointing to see how the delay management is done, like there's no announcement about the flight or anything. I've also experience delay with almost no announcement back in 2015 when I flew with AirAsia to Kuala Lumpur, the delay management was probably the worst I've ever had, and the flight that coming from Johor is boarded first instead of doing the boarding process for the flight to KL and the problem doesn't end there, the immigration at KL took ages, and we missed our flight. I'm so pissed

Outside the airport, Australia never had a mandated mask rule as a country but some states did, but only for a very short period of time. Since Jan 2021, it is mandatory to wear a mask on all flights and in airports but people are becoming more complacent because cases here are practically zero I can’t wait to fly back to DFW and actually have a layover there😍
