Q-tips are very absorbent :-o There's also ear cleaning guns one can get, i guess, because we had one at one point. You'd hold down the trigger and the tiny thing at the end spun. It was just long enough to clean the part that mattered.

Making games doesn't have to be the nightmare process they make it out to be. It's when your vision is grander than your experience and abilities. When you see the projects coming out of indie devs on itch it's damn impressive what people can do in a few days, but these are people that practice at small scale and only move up as they've honed their skills. And even then most of them seem to understand the mantra of keep it simple, stupid. You wouldn't jump into movie making thinking you're gonna pop out a trilogy like LOTR.
