I think this song is about a boy being abused (physically or sexually) by a loved one. He begins to blame himself and seclude himself. In this interpretation, the girl could either represent his inner thoughts telling him not to tell people or the abuser (I think the latter, because she says "I'll be gone", suggesting a physical entity). During the third verse (bridge?), we see that he is deluding himself to think what's going on is okay by "replaying the good parts" rather than facing the reality of his abuse. After this, the girl taunts him saying that he must love her (I don't know what the red letter is, if someone does please reply) and she says that if it's so bad, he can get help. At the end, she lets him "free" but warns him that he will never be able to forget her and should never be able to "take care of himself." Finally, we find out what she is saying is true, as he can never forget her, and will always be in pain as he both underwent torture and lost the one he loved. At this point, he can do nothing but tell himself that it's better, despite the fact he knows it's worse and it never will improve Something else worthy of noting is the vocabulary (although I don't know if this artistically intended or a coincidence in the translation). During the first 2 verses when the boy is talking, the vocabulary is childish because it uses simple words and mainly uses direct simple sentences. There's also allot of words repeated (like the title using "hurting" and "hurtful") suggesting an unextensive vocabulary. These both suggest that the character is a child or something about his character is childish (e.g. a reliance on his abuser for approval). The girl's lines are incredibly domineering; the first chorus contains nothing but orders! There's also an interesting way in which she phrases the orders, by saying the orders followed by a question (e.g. ne~), making it seem like the order is a request and that the boy has a choice, when in reality he doesn't. During the third verse (bridge?) the vocabulary improves in complexity massively. This could either represent a maturity in the character or show the fact that 2 parts of the boys brain is conflicting: a childish impulsive side which wants to stay and a logical side which is able to realize what's going on and wants to run away. This song's really depressing :'( (it's called hurting from a very hurtful pain, what was I expecting -_- ) or maybe I'm overthinking it.

I think this song is about someone who's very depressed, and hurts himself on purpose. He wants to tell someone but he doesn't want to create a ruckus. So he keeps it to himself and continues what he does in secret. It comes to an end where he has had enough and decides to commit suicide, expecting the pain to go away. When his suicide concludes successful, the pain is still there and he doesn't know what to do. At least I think so. This song made me sad.

I think this song is about the boy feeling some heavy burden (Guilt, love, depression, etc) and the girl represents his mind that keeps telling him it's fine and he repeatedlys tries to turn his pain into pleasure. Is this about abuse or self-harm or both? I can't figure it out. At first I assumed it was the latter, being sung by a depressed person who couldn't ask for help and kept using self-harm as an outlet, with the second voice being their inner thoughts, but looking at the lyrics a second time, it seems equally possible that it's an abuse victim. In both cases, it's completely normal for the person not to feel they can/should tell anyone. A lot of the other lines in both interpretations seem pretty applicable. I can't figure out which is more likely to be the intent... I could definitely see it being a combination of the two, though. Either way, damn, that's one powerful song. Ouch.

For me, this song is how you feel when your love is not returned. You love them so much, so deeply, but you know they don't or they're taken, etc. So you hold it in and it hurt and you feel like you're being driven insane by it. The girl or whatever represents the boy's inner turmoil and he's always pained by her. When he converts the pain to pleasure, I don't think her existence was needed anymore so she just sets him free. For me, this song had many interpretations about pain. Its up to you how you understand it. But for me as a person, I see it as having depression. Maybe it's just me, but this song seems to be about a boy who is 'used' or raped, because he states that 'turning pain into pleasure' and also mentions a guy, and his mind is torturing him, telling him no one will care or help him and everyone will hate him if he tells, so he suffers in silence, but then, for some reason, he gets the courage to tell, and the voice leaves after telling him it wanted to help liberate him, but if he forgets and moves on, it will eventually come back. He is very happy, and feels free, but he forgets and the voice comes back, and he still has the scars that he can't get rid of. Well i have a very wild theory (that no one ever agrees with) but here it goes: Everyone remebers "Unable to deceive", well those of you who don't know the song; it was also made by EZFG and if features yuuma and gakupo. That song is also extremely vague, but most people I've talked to, agree that is about gakupo cheating on yuuma. 1) So my theory is that after that they broke up, so the pain was gone, but at the same time he felt empty. However part of him also felt weak bacause he was missing someone that had cheated on him ergo, this song represents the struggle between how he feels and how he thinks he should feel. 2) That, or maybe those two songs aren't related at all. However it may be, the way I see it Yuuma and Mizki are not separated individuals, And whatever is going on inside of Yuuma's head, he clearly has a struggle (Mizki). So when he finally gets his shit toghether, Mizki warns him that he will be conflicted in the future again so she will be back. Which makes Yuuma realize that even if that part of him (mizki) is a bit sadistic he needs it to survive, because even if she causes him pain, without her to help him face his crap the "pain" will be bigger and/or even worse. PD I think that theory is a bit fujoshi, which is funny because I don't even like yaoi XD And also I heve no idea which song came out first (But i suspect it was this one) So I guess that throws out the window theory number 1.
