In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. I always enjoy pin pointing locations on Google Earth/Maps, the sign at the beginning that received the sticker was 'pristine' in the 'street view' of it... There are some great 'street views' of the bungee jumping operation at Bloukrans Bridge (starting at 6:00)...Beautiful ride, thanks Kinga

Two must rides. Sewen passes road between george and knysna almost all woods. And the R339 from knysna to uniondale through the diepvalle forest absolutely beautiful

I'm wondering if in those mountains outside of game parks one sees wild animals, or are they pretty well hunted there?

Coming from someone who has travelled through this part of South Africa on a monthly basis, between 2001 & 2018, for work purposes, mainly by car, mainly on the tarred roads, as well as some hiking and vacations many years before & inbetween, I'd say one would encounter a few buck, lots of bird life, maybe some elephants in the Knysna forest. I'd say most of the big 5 (African animals) would be in the game reserves, while most hunting (of mainly buck/antelope), would be done on private game farms. I must add that I've had bike rides through the Baviaans kloof where I've had to dodge snakes, buffalo, spotted leguans, swam in the same river as eels and been surrounded by baboons!
