Today we visit the final game in the Onimusha series (well at least the main series). Watch as a group of people who mysteriously have the power to absorb the souls of the Genma fight against the forces of Hideyoshi Toyotomi 15 years after Nobunaga's defeat.

A second player can also join the game. At the title screen, player 1 must press L1&2, R1&2 the same time player 2 presses L1&2, R1&2 , START button. This way player two would join the game.

I play this game back when it was out for PS2 a while ago so looking stuff up on KZbin about it was pretty much non-existent I really enjoyed the game and it was extremely difficult which I liked. Especially the boss battle

Great review. Well written and structured. Better than most KZbin reviews I've seen. You just need to adjust the sound levels. as much I love Turtles in Time's soundtrack, hearing Sewer Surfing over most of the review is a bit much. Keep up the good work.

Hey, I'd recommend lowering your background music levels, its hard to hear you at some points.If you want us to listen to some music give us a 10 second interval after saying some formation of "listen to this" Another thing I'd recommend is using music related to the game because it fits better, or at least using similar feeling pieces to the ones in the game. Also occasionally there's a ton of screen flicker from cut outs. Good review though

i never got to play this one, i just bought it on ebay as i am typing this. i still have all of my older onimusha games. i hope they remaster 1,2,3 3 was my favorite. is there any cheat codes for this still? because i dont want to die in the dark relm that is time consuming

Really enjoyed games 1-3, but I remember quitting this about half way in as grinding was too boring. One boss took me about an hour to beat, so I just thought I'm not doing this & quit. Which is not like me as i always revel in a challenge but it just seemed broken to me.

AziaXtremeInphinity If the game was cel-shaded, I could have agreed with you. It does not feel that way to me. In fact, it was quite realistic as far as design is concerned.

Well... It does certainly feel that way but the only way I can find another case like this is comparing DooM 2016 and DooM eternal's cool down equipment and colorful hud It looks arcade-y but it does not affect the overall flow of gameplay. For onimusha, the devs wanted it to be an action game and less horror and I think they did a good job on that

True. I liked the most 1, the atmosphere was great. 2 I do not remember. 3 was great in terms of diverse gameplay and story was cool. Dawn of dreams felt like a good action game, but far from the original.

Although your review is good, I disagree with a lot of your points. For starters, you didn't discuss the story, which is easily the best in the series, making perfect use of all characters and their motivations. Second, the cast is also the strongest in the series, with varied playstyles and personalities that are deep, instead of archetyped. The ost is also fantastic and worth mentioning. I agree with the magic, but the oni transformations were greatly improved upon, replayability is through the roof and the levels are as good as they've always been, so I don't get the lack of charm thay you mentioned. Sure, it's less dark than the others, but that doesn't necessarily equal lack of charm. Nice review though, and I respect your opinion, but for me, this is the strongest game in the series

great review but sound levels are way off. Will take a look at your newer videos! DmC 6 please T-T But its not in development. Well RE 7 is rumored to be in development, might be announced this year, and theyre saying that it will go back to re4 formula, so thats amazing! But then again, capcom.

This game was ok, but not nearly the game the other 3 were. I hated that once you got a new weapon you were basically on the same level you were before. And all the grinding. Gave me ptsd when I played it in 2014.

hithummah Totally grounded in reality, like demons invading the world to dominate it alongside with souls sucking swords and tank controls. Very realistic. Either way, all 4 games are good, some better than others.
