I had the pleasure of meeting George Lee briefly at an event in San Francisco in 2001, I remember him being friendly, down to earth & humble (he pointed out a wrist roller he had made for Bruce, said it wasn't great but it was the best tool they had for the job at the time; I reminded him that that tool still does the job when it comes to strengthening wrists & forearms!).

I feel your pain........of all the video I have seen of Bruce Lee's friends and students, you are the only one that touch my heart. I don't know the guy but you express the deepest love for him, after listening to you, I feel I know him too. Bruce had a wonderful friend in you my friend, he is looking down at you all the time. Ive seen Bruce Lee in person in kowloon, I was 12 y.o. at the time my uncle said " hey thats Bruce Lee" he was wearing denims and green t shirt. I was not excited seeing him in person and later on when Imnin my 20's saying to myself how lucky I am seeing him in person. Im in my 60s now.

Bruce Lee chose his friends very well. I don't think Bruce went around and discriminated in any way but you can tell a person by the friends he has/had. Bruce Lee was incredibly intelligent.

Sad that there´s not a person today like Bruce Lee. He would have had such an impact on so many things in martial arts, philosophy and what ever he had chosen to put his mind to. On the other hand I think with a superficial and totally money- and technology-driven society like we have today, Bruce may have found it harder to become succesfull. Maybe he would have been able to do it in America, most certainly Hong Kong and the East. Personalities like his has a skill to create enthusiasm which is a great personal skill of his. So maybe I´m wrong but a person like him also creates a lot of envy in some people like America back then, that didn´t see or wanted to acknowledge his potential and talent. But they realized that they had been mistaken. At that time Bruce unfortunately died. I think it´s so pity that medical science of that time wasn´t as advanced as today. Maybe he would have survived and been OK then. That could have meant that he would been with us today and that the world would have looked a little differently because of his influence and inspiration. So many lives may have looked differently if a force like him had been here with us.

Bruce Lee occasionally ate hashish in cookies. He was not a habitual user by any means not even close. He just ate it to help him calm down at times. So no he was not a Drug Addict. He was addicted to training that's what he was addicted to. If you want to think otherwise do your research. My respects Mr. Lee.

Bruce was taking a steroid to help with his back problem. Very unfortunately, long-term use of this drug and it's devastating side effects weren't known back then and it caught up with Bruce in 1973.
