Hey, thanks for the video shoutout! For reference, I'm a partner on Twitch and back in the day (i think 5+ years ago or more) you could actually apply to Twitch partnership by linking your KZbin channel, thus receiving partnership on Twitch if your youtube channel was large enough. When I was a kid I really enjoyed onision videos. As I've learned more about my trauma and the way that we accept treatment we feel that we deserve, I realised that I liked his videos because he was insulting people I identified with and I felt that I deserved that. I thought the more that someone points out what's wrong with me, the more I knew what I have to fix about myself. I ended up with severe anorexia that I'm still not better from, tolerated repeated sexual assault and relationship abuse and violence, and drug addiction. Obviously I don't blame onision for that because it's a lot deeper than that, but it goes to show that even when he was getting views and positive feedback for his cruel videos, it wasn't coming from a place of genuine, healthy entertainment

I still can't get over the fact that Onion claims to have been in the military when he actually couldn't make it through training. He refused to kill a rabbit for a survival test, so he was rejected because that shows that he'll likely put his ideology ahead of taking care of himself and his fellow soldiers in the field. I don't think he was ever truly a memeber of the military, thus, not a veteran.
