Hi Steven, does this DAP's equaliser settings work with Tidal/Spotify or does it only work with local files using the native music player?

Does anyone know how to add Tidal to the Dp-x1a? It has Android 5.1 but the app says it only works with Android 6.0 or higher.

I know this response is a year late, but deleting the stock apps(as you call the unwanted apps) may not be possible. Just like how when you get a cellphone from a carrier (e.g. Verizon and the apps that come on their phones) you are unable to remove the stock apps unless you have root access. Though,I would suggest that you keep the stock apps, because more than likely it will improve the listening experience compared to how it would just be if it were stock(as in bare), and if space is a concern, more than likely the apps won't take up that much space as most stock apps don't go past 10mb from personal experience . That's just my two cents. However if you have any questions, I may be able to answer them because I ordered one that should be coming tomorrow. Hope that helped - Delta

Thanks for watching. The screen appears to be made of hardened plastic/tempered glass material similar to those smart phones with touch screens. On this model here, the screen does have a good responsiveness.
