I met my boyfriend on OKcupid while in my freshman year of college. My first boyfriend just broke up with me and I signed up to get used to going on dates. One guy I went on a date with spent the whole time talking about how much he loved guns…and it really freak me out lol then I met my boyfriend and he drove 2.5hrs to meet me! We started dating shortly after, own a house together, and have been together for 9 years next month. So he’s, sometimes you have to go through weird people to get to the love of your life. 💛

I met my husband on a dating app as well. It was on Coffee Meets Bagel. Definitely not ad well known of a dating app, but that was less scary than something like Tinder to me. Our first date was at a game night with his friends and I brought one of my friends along as well for safety.

This is definitely not true, everyone has their problems and there is always someone for everyone. But what will keep you from your person is believing that you will be alone and that you are not worthy! Try to change your mindset and attempt to better yourself despite your issues and I promise there will be someone that will accept you and your faults. Most people just want to see some effort.
