Language learning and language production are axiomatically related to the psychological state of the learner. This idea was supported by the Humanistic Approach represented by Suggestopedia, the Silent Way and then the Total Physical Response. An ESL classroom free from anxiety and pressure makes learners fully engaged and immersed in the learning process. The emotional state and enthusiasm play a pivotal role in successful teaching and effective learning achievements.
