Online Nursing School - How it Works

Because attending an accredited online nursing school is a fairly new phenomenon, I'd like to share my journey with you. This video details the ins and outs of attaining a BSN mostly online.

OMFG! This video was meant to be! I just finished my Exams in my second semester in Nursing, literally 6 hours ago. I have to transfer because my husband is active duty...The closest College to where we are going, is an hour and 45 mins away. I was searching the wrong thing because I wasn't aware you could sub-locate to do clinicals!!!

Once you finish the pre licensure program can you take the nclex to become an RN or is there another program to become an RN. I’m a cps social worker with a BSW but desperately want to be a nurse. Unfortunately with my caseload I have to do mostly online and clinicals local to me in NC. I just can’t find a school in my searches.

Hi Nina! Welcome to my channel. I've just recorded a ton of videos that I'll have up in the next week that detail more of my journey. My life has been a bit crazy with work, school, and my kids so I kind of fell off the face of the KZbin earth for a bit. I'm back now and should have more videos to hopefully answer everyone's questions more thoroughly. We don't have live lectures in my program, but some classes have pre-recorded lectures available for us to watch. There's a fair amount of independent learning involved.
