Hey Dan, fantastic stuff as always! I love all your lessons especially your pentatonic stuff. Could you do a video with only these cool little pentatonic riffs which you showed only a little bit slower. I know the min pent scale pretty well, but I am lacking of knowledge how to use it in a musical context. All the best and stay healthy.

Thanks! That's a great idea. I'll do a video doing some at random and explaining them.

Hi Dan. I wonder if you could do a lesson on note selection ideas when improvising/making up bass lines. Your runs/licks/riffs are always melodic and flowing, whereas I think mine sound stilted and formulaic. Hope I've explained what I mean. Cheers.

I needed this. So many songs I want to learn but there is no bass tabs or videos for them. Thank you for making this!

Thank you how to open up ear to be able to ear bass notes in a song progression will be much appreciated or it's can be done only by talented muscians
@OnlineBassCourses Жыл бұрын
It's definitely not for just talented musicians. Start with songs with slow bass notes that you can hear well. Don't try to learn Teen Town as your first song! Work your way up to that. Learn the scales, arpeggios etc. that make bass lines. Learn some harmony. You can always use an app like Moises to isolate the bass but you should learn to rely on your own ear. When you learn some chord progressions and analyse songs, you'll see that there are many things in common between different bass lines in songs. That makes it easier!
