Am I the only one that likes my actual hair like this? The trend nowadays is sleek hair but I've always been one for wild volume and curls. Drag looks SO fun and I would love to try it someday, though honestly, I'm watching this for the hair tutorial 😅

If you really don't like shiny wigs you can soak it in fabric softener for at least 3 days it makes the hair super soft and easy to detangle also 1 part water to 1 part softener

I have been working with my wigs a lot lately experimenting with rollers/heat setting. One technique that helps me with volume is to switch the direction of the front two rows of rollers to make the hair sit away from the hair line at the root. It also helps to overdirect how you roll the hair into place. I stand behind the wig block and roll the hair in the roller (all the while brushing it so the angle is consistent). This way my hair doesn’t jut out at the hairline but dips inward sitting more vertically against the teased hair in the back.

hi question, i bought a new blonde synthetic wig. it is awful it does not look at all like it is supposed too. it is really thick at the root there is no scalp or clear defined part but the worst part is it has tight curls instead of lose waves, i tried to brush it out and add powder but it still looks insane is there a way for me to get it more loss and relaxed?

You are so good at styling wigs. I love doing drag, I'm good at makeup, body, outfits, performance, etc. But the only thing I cannot do is hair. It's such a complicated medium to work with, I just don't understand how to do it. It really annoys me, because I have everything together except for my hair. I have multiple beautiful wigs that cost a lot of money but look shake and go because I cannot style them for the life of me and is really discouraging because I know no one will ever take me seriously if I don't have good hair 😩

I don't like to take it off immediately since there's still steam in there and I wanna let the wig sit in the steam a little more. But after like 10 mins when the bag cools down I try to take it off so the wet condensation doesn't leave the wig damp overnight. So I take it off after that 10 mins so the wig air-dries. But the only difference whether you take it off or leave it is that the wig comes out a little bit damp, but it doesn't affect the curl! It dries away anyway so if I forget its no big deal :)

Is it just me or is actually getting the hair into the rollers the hardest bit? Like it's on 15x speed so suggests it probably shouldn't be. I've been stood here for an hour brushing this one friggen section trying to get it into a roller and having less than zero success wtf am I doing wrong?
