The great heavyweight boxer Jack Dempsey said that his father used to play "Turkey in the Straw" on the fiddle so often the family thought it was the national anthem. Great job.

Outstanding! Moving ! With just a fiddle, you have taken "Turkey" to a whole new level.

you seem to hold the violin much lower on your chest than the classical style hold. Is this a stylistic preference? I hadn't noticed it in your other vids. I realize there is no set one way just wondering what your thoughts were on your hold?

@@leif1075 learning to play violin is usually more of a marathon than a sprint. Maybe try ukulele... You will sound better after a month of practicing that than after a month of practicing violin :) Or maybe mandolin. Same strings as violin, but you don't have to figure out how to use a bow; easier to get a decent tone as a beginner mandolin player than a beginner fiddle player. Best of luck in whatever you decide to pursue! Music is a wonderful gift that reflects the beauty of our Creator ❤️

from my high school french I could understand this. Lardawan requests you speak "american", I am unfamiliar with that language since I speak English. when being critical I feel its important to be accurate, this makes Lardawan the bigger douche in my opinion! Ha ha!
