You don’t know what a life saver you are. I love physics but my professor goes too fast… it frustrates me to the point of crying. and then i see your videos and I understand on the first try…. thank you.

I think you are my saving grace, im currently in physics 20 ang had no clue how to do this but after this I knew how to this!! I think I'll be able to pass this class!

Can we get negative accelerations for these questions? I got a negative acceleration and im wondering if that’s right.

why we take the kinetic friction to the right ?why it isn't to the left ?
@wanachipoya810 Жыл бұрын
Because friction acts in the opposite direction of acceleration
@PhysicsNinja Жыл бұрын
First solve it without friction. Friction is opposite of the motion. In this case to the right.
@Ary234511 ай бұрын
It depends .....let's say the questions gives you scenario that object is moving to right.then you take UK to left cuz it's always opposite to motion just like normal friction.

Quick question, Why is the acceleration always assumed to be the same for all three bodies. I mean the other two mass are just hanging and have no friction, but block 2 is moving on a surface that has friction to oppose it's motion, so how does it have the same acceleration with the rest of the 2 masses
@PhysicsNinja9 ай бұрын
If the blocks have different accelerations it means they are getting closer together or farther part. Typically the length of the strings remains constant, if this is the case the accelerations but be the same.
@majwin-67949 ай бұрын
@@PhysicsNinja So it means the more friction on the second mass, the more the overall acceleration reduces. And when it's on a smooth surface, the acceleration (for all three) becomes greater?

Why is T1 not equal to T2? I thought that tension along a cord is always constant/equal?

Use the Lagrangian. Easier. Faster. Unlike humans, Mother Nature wastes no efforts.
