I swapped out half the butter for half fat butter (for those of u in Ireland- Connacht gold) and half the powdered sugar for powdered sweetener (measured to taste) ... and they were unreal 🥰

Butter at room temperature Plain white flour And did you use icing sugar Temperature totally depends on the oven Bake till light brown don’t worry about the time Or you cream the butter and sugar till light and fluffy then add the flour Different countries have different flour textures
