The best biscuit there is. I have a special mould to make wedge shapes with a thistle pattern.
I used a dough scraper while it was in the tin. That way there’s no need to remove the tin, and easier than a knife when cutting in the tin. Also, I used a circular tin. Here in Scotland, they have a circular shaped short bread called Petticoats. Hope you tried it again!

This shortbread looks delicious! Ill definitely be trying it after this heatwave we are having here in Maine, USA has passed. I always wondered why it was called shortbread in english. What exactly is short about it? In french it's called biscuit sablé (sandy cookie) and that makes a lot more sense to me.

@@SeraphimKnight Bcoz you don't allow gluten to form which is why it is crumbly. The formation of Gluten is "shortened" hence the term "short Bread".
