Just had one almost a week ago. Minimal improvement so far with a lot of urgency. Should I expect more improvement over a few weeks. No Dr has told me anything. It’s like they don’t know. No discussion after surgery on what to expect.

They would see a urologist and come up with a treatment that works for both patient and urologist.

@@Sunriseurology1 That’s no answer at all. There would be a summation of all urologists and their procedure and a histogram. There may be no studies in this, because the information is too useful for the general public!

Tommy 0 seconds ago I just had the procedure done, and am experiencing a lot of pelvic pain, frequent urination, with blood and occasional blood clots, that are long and stringy. Pretty gross! This is the third day post surgery, and still passing a lot of blood in my opinion. I am on warfarin therapy for a heart valve, and taking Lovenox injections twice daily, while my surgeon told me to take all my meds the night on the day I had my procedure. Was told this is all normal, but the blood coming out really scares me!

If it helps any I peed blood for 3 weeks after a UrolLift.......It finally stopped, but about a year later I am not much better than I was before the procedure.....

Is rezum better treatment Urolift have to take it out in 4 years. Rezum is just steam water.

But , this young man has a good chance of living for another forty or more years. Meanwhile his prostate gland continues to grow larger . How this one time procedure is going to remain effective for the rest of his life ?

Too many very bad UroLift outcomes reported in various youtube videos. TURP is still the gold standard.

Best procedure will need to be decided between you and your urologist. Neither TURP or UroLift is for everyone.

Urolift didn’t help me much. I still need to take Flomax. My urologist told me it’s very dependent on the individuals prostate make up.

What size was yoir prostate when you had the urolift? And how r you doing now?

Yesterday I spoke with my Urologist and she conferred with her colleague and they both say I should not have a UroLift because I already have gold seeds placed there so the computers can locate the exact spot of my prostate cancer by using those seeds as location devices and is why their radiation is so precise. If anyone else has those gold seeds in their prostate, do speak with your Urologist before just going ahead with this procedure.

I had urolift 7 months ago and l still can't ejaculate. Bad experience for me.
