The first menu you eat It's red pork rice and crispy pork rice. Actually the gravy sauce you have to pour it over rice and mix it together. The sauce is made from the water used to marinate the red pork, which is boiled and cooked with flour to thicken it. And if it tastes too sweet The shop has a black sauce made from dark soy sauce, chili and vinegar. The black sauce has chili but not spicy at all because it's pickled chili. It will be sour, making this menu less sweet. and keep it from drying out. And at the salad shop, the clear worm-like thing is actually konjac jelly. or King of Fiber It's super healthy and goes well with salads.😁😁🙏🙏

That's "worm-like" things in 6:11 are Kelp Noodles call "Sen Geaw". They are low calories, high fiber but also have no taste at all. It's like eating crunchy water so people love making them into spicy salad (Yum). Thank you visiting Chiang Mai. Hope you enjoy the stay.

the red sauce is meant to go over all the pork and rice. otherwise, as you found out, it's more than a little dry. i usually get the plate that has a mix of red pork, crispy pork, and chinese sausage together.

I have this dish often at different places so trust me it wasn’t the sauce that was why it was dry 😂 I never usually have sauces because they’re so calorie dense I usually use it sparingly so my meal is as healthy as possible! As for the fruit tasting part 2, other fruits I could think of are: fresh Tamarind, snake fruit (salak), soursop, starfruit, yellow dragon fruit ( I know you tried a red skin one, but try a yellow skin one! it tastes way better and is a lot sweeter!), palm seeds.
