Hey, I think you misunderstood about the cowboy hat lady with Khao Kha Moo. This is the same restaurant. It's at Chang Phueak street food night market. 😁😁😁 This is the same recipe and same flavor. I ate Khao Kha moo before Covid-19 pandemic situation with the cowboy hat lady. I think I ate Khao Kha Moo lastly at the same day with U. Her sister or her relative sold it. Moreover, you miss the good thing in this restaurant. You will eat Khao Kha Moo with the sour sauce and the fermented cabbage. This is the best!! This is the unique sauce. Normally, I don't like to eat it, but I want to know why the Chinese travelers ordered this so much. Because the original of Khao Kha Moo is China. I recommended that this is top 10 Khao Kha Moo in Thailand.

Try eating it with chili vinegar, and fresh chilli and garlic. That's the way Thai eating it fully flavored.

I don't think the Muslim lady would sell you pork sausage, they normally won't even handle pork. Khao kha moo is a common comfort food and guilty pleasure, guilty because it's laden with cholesterol. The Kagi variety has more gristle and tendon, which westerners mostly don't like the idea of, but in East Asia tendon and cartilage are stewed so they are soft and al dente and popular.

However, you are a master at finding food or having it prepared in a non-spicy way. That is awesome.. Sausage shop. The seller is Muslim. It's definitely not pork sausage. When you said the pork, the seller looked very shocked and looked at you. And pork leg rice, there are some restaurants that boil pork legs with milo or ovaltine as well, it will be sweeter and more fragrant and the sauce will be very thick. And I'd like to recommend a noodle shop that is popular among Thai people and students in Chiang Mai because it's cheap, very gian bowl and very delicious. The name of the shop is "Soom Here Hongซุ้มเฮียฮ้ง" or "Bamee Por Mung Tie บะหมี่พ่อมรึงตาย" (it means your father's dead noodle). It's a rude word and a swear word for Thai people. the restaurant have the largest bowl of noodles, the menu name is "Rest in peace noodle สู่สุขคติ". It's a menu that many Thai eaters and Thai KZbinrs go to challenge because this menu, if a normal person, requires 10-12 people to eat it. But today and tomorrow the shop is close because the shop has broken pipe in the kitchen. I think you might be interested😁😁🙏🙏

That khao kha moo looked fantastic. It was lush, frankly. I know I would have loved it. And, oh...if you're interested in visiting another iconic food vendor, you must pay Jay Fai a visit in Bangkok. She doesn't have a cowboy hat. Rather, she is famous for wearing googles when she cooks...and for her crab omelette. Which has garnered her a Michelin Star. I'm not the definitive authority by any means; but, I'd say she is more famous than the Cowboy Hat Lady. Although Jay Fai's cooking doesn't qualify as "street food" necessarily since she cooks out of a street side storefront.

Hi! Josie. It’s called sukiyaki and that stall might be the best suki-haeng(stir fried version) I’ve ever had anywhere. So deep in flavor, so charred and smoky. PS. check my DM in your instagram, I have something for you.😆😆😆
