Gosh, the Sierra 734 is just a phenomenal rod. I put it up there with my more expensive rods. It just feels "right".

Nice review Rich! I would say your Honorable mention rod however for me is by far the most successful one that I use. I can use that rod for so many different applications but I do love all your other selections also. I tend to use them more whenever I’m targeting bigger fish.

I have a fury 703sf,Sierra 703c, Kaden 735cb and a DC 705 703sf- wacky ned rig SA703c-texas rigs Tokyo rig spinner bait Just got the 735cb over Christmas and hoping I really love it wanted you use it for traps and square bills. Dc 705c I use mainly for jig fishing and just feeling rocks. I always have a fury 795sb but haven’t broke it out yet because I got it over Christmas as well but planned on using a 6th sense draw with it or the trace but not sure what the plan is

As far as durability there isn't a better rod than Dobyns and their warranty is one of the best , as far as weight and balance I love the Cashion Icon line but most of my rods are now Dobyns, have three champion xp, a couple Kaden series and a couple Fury rods, imo the most versatile rod I've ever owned is the Fury 733, I have caught bass almost every way you can catch them , from squarebills , jigs, topwaters, weightless flukes and senkos, its been my workhorse

Question on that 735c. Will it handle small a-rigs & 6" magdrafts fine? If so would you recommend the sierra or champion 735c for one rod as a a frog rod with braid and light a-rig / 6" magdraft with fluoro. Appreciate the feedback. Great Channel!

Yes, absolutely. Can't go wrong with either, the Sierra is probably slightly better as a fluoro moving bait rod and the Champ with braid drives home a frog hook a little better

Would a 7'6" champion 763 be good for straight braid and t rigs / big worms and jigs? I use straight braid and I'm looking for a moderate fast that will keep bass pinned.
