I was on the right track until we looked at the Be3 as black's first move. I had Ba3+ again followed by Ne6 preventing black from Bd4. Whatever black did I would have returned my bishop to Bb2 controlling the important long diagonal. I suppose this doesn't work because the Black bishop can prevent my knight from improving his position.
