He adored the music of Supertramp, good, better, loved the songs composed by Roger Hodgson during his stay in the band, for me, it was very, very clear, Roger was the essence and soul of that band. When the band broke up, I still had 15; a teenager, and when I needed to have my hand this musical reference, I felt very sad, thought I would not hear my buddy back to my training as a person. What was my surprise when the following year, in 1984 Roger Hodgson appeared again, this time alone, a luxury for me; presenting this musical gem, with beautiful songs, and where the best of Roger showed his great talent. The strength and power "Had a Dream", harmonious "In Jeopardy", the great romantic beauty of "Lovers in the Wind" and the melodic and deep "Only Because of You" some from the titles of this great album. Laura - I saw Supertramp in Kansas City in 1979. *Breakfast in America* was a fantastic concert Supertramp put on. One of my Top 5 concerts I seen. Roger's 1984 solo album *"In the Eye of the Storm"* was the best Supertramp album since *"Crime of the Century".* Better than *Breakfast in America.*

I became a huge fan of Supertramp when I was a kid in the early 80's. I bought all their albums and listened to them as much as I could. And then Roger left... But when "In the eye of the storm" came out, what a blast! And I have a special souvenir about this song. My dad who wasn't into this kind of music at all heard this song at home and he fell in love with it, immediatly. He asked me to give him a tape recording of the whole album, so he could listen to it in his car everyday. I'm so glad I shared this experience with him. I miss you, Dad. Thank you so much, Roger.

Another great performance Roger Hodgson and one of my favorites from his masterpiece solo album "In the Eye of the Storm". The performance of "Only Because of You" is always a highlight of Roger's concerts but hearing it done with an orchestra is a memory that lasts a lifetime. It certainly made our trip from NJ to Casino Rama in Canada well worth the trek.

Roger IS the voice of Supertramp.. Saw him last month in the Midwest in the USA a few times. He plays ALL the hits and sings just as a great as he did in the 70's. He tours with a GREAT band if he does a show anywhere near you, you must go see him for a wonderful, beautiful and spiritual evening..

Voici une de mes chansons préférée de l'album " In the eye of the storm " du grand Roger , elle est fabuleuse, l'intro me touche beaucoup , ainsi que le passage juste un peu avant le début du chant de Roger .
