This looks great! I always worry about my works not being good enough, not perfect, but the here you are, adjusting things on the fly, and the results are amazing! A tip for shingles I got from another video, you can cut an entire strip of those, but keep them attached to the strip with about 0.5-1cm left, then just glue the entire strip on the roof! You can alternate patterns to have an interlocking look or something. Saves a lot of time of individually glueing the shingles to the roof. Try it for the next work!

The paint job on the roof shingles is great, and I think the gold trim goes really well with it. I can see what you mean about the colors on the walls coming out kind of flat, but I don’t think it looks nearly as bad as you think it is. One suggestion I’d make would be to paint those decorative elements on the walls a different color. They’re a cool shape so it would help them be more visible and distract from the color of the wall that you weren’t happy with. Overall though really good work!

I rinse raisins, then drain them ( i don't like getting grit in my raisins) then I put the oats, the raisins, a bit of apple sause, greek yogurt, milk and cinnamon in a sealable container shake it up and leave it in the fridge over night. In the morning I've got delicious cold oats.

I love your videos. You have a great sense of humor and make me laugh out loud. I agree with the prior commentor. Your building looks fantastic. I really liked your techniques and that you state what ideas you were happy with and what you would do differently. I had a thought about your decorative strips. Ir you covered them with painters tape you could peal it off after the texture and they woul be smooth. I think the parts that you thought were not quite right add to the realism. I think sometimes people get so caught up in perfection that they forget that real buildings are not perfect. Especially old buildings.

Great work, man. I usually make up textured paint (with sand or sawdust), that way it saves you an extra step (I've got a video on it) Don't worry too much about making little mistakes here & there.... Instead, cover them up with little added details/features (eg, glue on some haphazard coffee stirrers to look like there's been some makeshift repairs) by adding things like weathering, moss, bird's nests, vines, dirt, flock, tufts, etc.. Another brilliant video. Well done

First, let me say that your work is fantastic, and the building looks great, so don't judge yourself too harshly. My only observation in the shingles is that maybe a green coloration or a green hue would have been better since elves tend to be more in tune with nature. The way you make the texture on the walls is very interesting and shows creativity. I like all the videos you have posted on this topic of building terrains and buildings, they are quite educational and informative. Thanks for sharing your expertise with us, and for giving us tools that we can use to make our hobby more enjoyable.

I have Oct - March for the cardboard city (winters off is the best part of my job, But I have money coming in and wife makes bank, so no my children are not living in squalor.). Edit- Love the idea of using cereal box cardboard for rooves. Smart.
Love how the roof turned out, especially with the paint! When you need straight lines of shingles like for this build you could try cutting rows of them to glue on as a strip. Guaranteed straight rows, plus it saves a bunch of time glueing
