They were so quick in round 1 that Victoria had to add some banter in the connecting wall round. Always good!

I once captained a winning quiz team at work where the only answer I contributed in the final concerned Peter Rabbit's siblings (as was pointed out by the company Chairman at the trophy presentation) !

Rarely has being American been useful for this quiz, so at least I got that one. And don't forget Freedom to Petition... it's not so flashy, but it is in there.

Was it Welsh,🤔 and what does it mean please?🙏 p.s Love QI♥ and Victoria🌹
@pygiana164 жыл бұрын
Victoria asked in Welsh (very well pronounced) what their strengths were and the captain said they hoped they’d be able to deal with whatever came up (rough translation from memory).

Did anyone on the Celts team apart from Huw ever smile?
@cannot-handle-handles2 жыл бұрын
Happened to read your comment before watching, so I paid attention and … I don't think so? Beverley laughs heartily at 14:17, but does that count as "not a smile" or "more than a smile"?

Yes, during conversation after completing the wall.

That last puzzle in Round 1 was insufficiently researched. The last Emperor of China was actually Geneeral Yuan Shikai, who adopted the name of Hongxian after counterrevolutionarily declaring himself as emperor. The argument that he was not widely recognized is invalid, as doubtless those that declared new dynasties were not recognized by those supporting the previous regime, the only difference being a republican form of government prior to that claimed by Yuan Shikai.

Funny, I was just thinking that I adore this outfit. To each her own, of course. So glad they got her out of those horrid suits she wore in the first series at any rate.
@dianefields60565 ай бұрын
I think it's a bit weird that people comment on what's being worn on shows, but I'll say that I like this outfit and I'm 10/11 yrs into the future.

How can people play this game and practice for it and STILL not understand how the second sequence round goes? They're always trying to reveal the 4th one, or give the answer as spotting a pattern but not giving the 4th step. How ridiculous.
@pikekeke10 ай бұрын
It's usually a bad captain when that happens. Like here when he was provided the answer and instead chose to flounder through the connection until being told again that it's a sequences round.
@alexandergrant24205 жыл бұрын
at 8:00 isn't she saying civilisation is a "super mario computer game"?
@tyggerjai5 жыл бұрын
"Sid Meier computer game" - the original Civ was one of many titles released as "Sid Meier's " - "Sid Meier's Railway Tycoon", "Sid Meier's Civilisation", "Sid Meier's Pirates", etc.

Its annoying when people reference the answers in the comments section, it's like telling someone the end of a movie before they've seen it.
@ShaunCheah6 жыл бұрын
The solution is to save the comments until after the video's been watched, not before.
@kayehenry37375 жыл бұрын
@@ShaunCheah - Playing Devil's Advocate, I will say yes, that is _one_ solution. I skim the comments early in the show in case someone highlights a point I might miss -- like Chinese emperors and references to the US Constitution. A _second_ solution is to say something like, "The Lion question in round 2 was tough although I watch a lot of children's tv." No mention of the specific show, no spoiler, but the point is made. It just takes a tiny bit of effort that anyone who watches this show is easily capable of making. Having said that, I think the safest approach is to read the comments afterward if spoilers are a problem for you.
@paulkennedy87015 жыл бұрын
No. It's like having a conversation in the pub about a movie you've just seen and having a stranger join you and complain that you're spoiling it for them. People are entitled to discuss what they've seen. If you don't want to be "spoiled" don't join the conversation.
