My parents are going to France w my moms sister & her husband next month. Can’t wait for them to get to experience France. They worked their asses off all their life to help me & my sis go to college & to take us on vacations. Now that we’re self sufficient they get to enjoy vacations without kids. So excited for them, they’ve done quite a few vacations without us (which is wonderful) but I think this France trip is the biggest. They absolutely deserve it. It’ll be my honor to take care of the dog while they enjoy a much earned vacation

The flatbread is called pissaladière! It's very popular around Nice and I heavily recommend it to anyone who likes onions and anchovies (some people make it without anchovies but like... they're so good!!). Proper pissaladière is super good, especially with a salad to keep it fresh and balance out the salt.
