It's so sad that all great things must come to an end...and this is one of those things. The last of 64 episodes aired 18 years ago back in 2003...and god do I miss it. Not a program on this planet will ever compare to this masterpiece of a series. The writing of the episodes was genius and the actors were perfect. All of the cast are national treasures.

I was 17 when the first Only fools episode came out and can easily relate to everything in the show as thats how we dressed and carried on in the pub ,my local pub was full of the same wheeler dealers as Dell was and strangely i looked like Rodney too complete with the same dress sence although i didnt know it at the time .Its like watching our selves back in the early 80s so thats why its so believable i think to so many people still .

Brilliant 👍 I used to live around the corner from where open all hours was filmed when I was a kid. Ronnie Barker never used to say much but David Jason always found time to say hello to all the local kids. Really nice chap. Most of the filming was done while we was at school or early in the morning. But some was on an evening , I remember David riding around the block on that old bike. Fools and horses! Another classic 👍
