You know Dee, With the rising of the economy being as it is, all over the world ,the high cost of food , those of us who are not rich or wealthy, should really take note ,to learn how to farm, and live off the land i💯 Bravo Bravo!! 🙏🏽❤👍🏽👍🏽

Totally agree that if you have land you should grow ur food. A people who lacks wisdom shall truly perish. Why should you buy when you can grow your own. I wish the young people are seeing this. Furthermore, I think farming is health and wealth.

It feels so good to see you enjoying the countryside in JamRock (Jamaica). Dee one important thing you must know about the Ackee too. Even though you see that it's slightly open on the tree, you must not dear force to open and/or use right away until it's open half way or fully open by itself after you picked it. Ackee is used otherwise even without the usual combination of fishes. The outer part or pod that contains the ackee seeds and its fleshy fruit is used as a scrub to wash clothes. In the past I had that experience, perhaps not as popular nowadays. The almond fruit is eaten when ripe or even made into a drink. The fruit is the fleshy part covering the outer part of the shell. the. Yes, the nut or seed inside the shell is used for all that you have explained. Great seeing how the Rast Elder interacted and shared his knowledge with you. Keep sharing yours, as ones will be interested to learn from you as a sister and as an empress from the soils of the motherland: your standpoints and perspectives of Africa. The reason for pointing out this, is that most often western media give wrong impressions to our peoples about Africa especially to the diaspora living on the Continents of the Americas and in the islands of the Caribbean including Jamaica. Perhaps too the same may be about Africans in Africa getting negative info and not much positive on Africans in the diaspora of the west. As always: One Love❤ and Respect to you Dee and all your associates (Fellow Jamaicans accommodating you).

Dee, you are really living the dream fi true. There is no better life than the life you are living in the country of Jamaica. As a young child prior to emigrating to the UK, I had a swing just like the one you was swinging on. I love avocado, breadfruit, almond, and coconut. I envy you right now. You remind me of my roots. Glad you are enjoying the real Jamaica. Ras looks really healthy and strong. A younger man has nothing on him. Dee's Mother does mackerel with coconut run down for breakfast. It's delicious. Try it but you have to go early before as its a very popular dish.
