I’m so very excited for Season 4! That’s a great theory that there was a past killing or attempted killing! Your videos are like hanging out with a friend who loves the show as much as I do!

Thanks, Dallas! I'm always watching for your OMITB videos to be posted. I do hope you will be able to delve into episode titles that might give us insight into what might happen. A lot of last years episode titles threw me into wrong conclusions of what the episode might be about, though, lol.

Some of the episode titles threw me for a loop too! I check a few times a day to see if the titles have been released anywhere >_< Im hoping soon!

Dallas, as soon as I saw the outfit on the person with the gun ~I got Cliff wardrobe vibes from last season, lol. Remember how they only showed part of the outfit the person standing next to the elavator was wearing(when we were trying to figure out who pushed Paul Rudd) People thought it was a woman, others were guessing it was Cliff.

@@psiloveyou1964 This person is really stylish! The matching shoelaces feel more modern but I still think it might be a flashback. Do you think that body frame is a woman?

@@ScreenFavorites so many of my guesses were wrong, in all seasons, I'm not going to start guessing...yet. lol. I've seen (on Reddit) that 2 Episode Titles(with descriptions) have been released.

I agree, I don't think blue striped pants is the killer. The murder was at night and I don't see how the shot could have been taken from that angle. For such a shot, there would need to be more stability too

Excellent recap of the trailer, and I really like your theory about there being a connection to years-ago killings, and the flashbacks to those killings/killer. Especially, if Charles WAS the intended victim, not Sazz. What I'm not in agreement with you on is the (small?) point about sequencing of the action in NYC and the trip to LA. I just don't have enough plot to know if the sequencing you suggest makes sense. And, I'm not sure how important it is to the overall season. My own issue with S4 is with the Great Guest Stars for this season--specifically Eva Longoria as the "Mabel" character in the film within the series. There's an obvious age difference between Eva and Selena. So, will the series delve into the inter-generational aspect of Selena and [as she's put it] her "Olds"? Will the Hollywood types tell the Trio they made this casting decision because they're afraid the public will see the relationship as "creepy"? This could be a very interesting subtext for the season--and, of course, force Mabel/Oliver/Charles to re-examine their relationship. Which I think is wonderful, and can be a "learning experience" for the Hollywood types, and make a statement about each generation having their own silos, and usually not engaging along cross-gen lines. I'm hoping the series doesn't miss this opportunity to make a statement on inter-generational friendships.

@@117Derek I don’t think the sequencing will be very important to the story at all. To me, it appears that Mabel tells Eva that there is a murder when the movie trio arrives in NY. It appears as if they first meet them in LA. I would hope that they didn’t find out Sazz died, go to LA instead of starting the investigation ( I feel like LA could wait) not mention the murder to anyone and not have any of them hear about it on the news. Then go back to NY to start figuring out what happened. It would make more sense to me that they went to LA before Sazz died but even I know it’s a stretch, just not as much of a stretch IMO as the former. I could be completely wrong, but I think that the possibility of no one working on making a movie about the trio hearing about another murder is too improbable. I 100% believe that Hollywood executives will state that they aged up Mabel because of the optics of the generational gaps. I hope they make a statement about how inter-generational friendships can work, it would be nice for them to tell Hollywood at large to break the outdated echo chambers of the generations but I think it’s more likely it will only be a meta joke “no one would believe a 20 something hang out with a bunch of geezers” type of thing. Blake Lively has recently gotten bad press for putting herself in a role that’s meant for someone in their early 20s who begins a relationship with someone around 50. She changed the life experiences of the character. The dynamic of the characters are an important part of the story. I was thinking it kinda ties into the wall paper that shows an unrealistic version of North America. The movie trio is a Hollywood version of themselves and Eva is not true to who Mabel is, we see her and the others flustered about who will be portraying them. I think they will regret selling an unrealistic view of themselves.

@@ScreenFavorites Thanks for your response. NOW, I better understand the sequencing issue you pointed out in your video. Makes sense to me! I didn't know about the Blake Lively thing; and your thoughts on how the Hollywood folks will explain away Eva playing "Mabel" (Selena) is a possibility. Since the beginning of "Only Murders..." it has been unique to see the inter-generational friendship of the Trio; while at the same time giving Mabel a variety of love interests her age. The Talbot relationship is the latest, but I believe the actor isn't coming back for this season, so like the others, Mabel won't have a long-term romantic relationship. This is OK, and realistic of many thirty-somethings' personal lives. Again: I can't wait for the first episode to drop.
