Badly lite roads a long very dark bend does not help. But previously why did some of the other drivers come straight across the road from the side road were they going to turn right instead of goung steaight on into to the work site. A serious rethink of designing that piece of busy road is badly needed and some lighting and strong crash barriers lite up would make it far safer. That bend is seriously long and blind. 😢 Glad to know the lady survived and was not seriously injured.

I know thay exact road. People crash there all the time when it's dark cuz there are no lights and no warnings that you are about to be forced to make a 90 degree turn while going 50mph speed limit. If you don't make that impossible to see turn, you just go right off the edge. Not the first time this has happend there
