An OG here. I have a black 2020 model. Aside from the boy racer rear wing and the problematic low front air dam, this is the most grownup car I’ve ever owned. Absolutely thrilled with it. 32mpg at 85mph all day long. Has excellent passing power. Excellent road car for Nana and me. I just ask, if anyone sees a couple of old folks hauling ass down the interstate, kindly move outta of our way.

There's no replacement for displacement. Sadly the beloved bread & butter civic sport went to a 1 5 turbo in 2016. Guess they believe my friend who says the smaller the better for mileage ..
@2trdmustanggtfordf1hdsgsfa802 жыл бұрын
@@rstuff1605 Absolutely right! I bought the TRD to replace a Yaris. The reason was.... While the Yaris got excellent mileage around town, it sucked on the interstate. I live in the Ozarks, many elevation changes. Pulling hills with A/C required 3500 to 4000 rpm to maintain momentum. Anyhow, my TRD average combo driving for 25K miles has been 28.3 mpg. And I drive rather aggressively. My only complaint is the frontend paint seems to chip easily. They just don't make paint that can standup to the debris from tailgating folks. Oddly, all my vehicles have weak paint...LOL

The cam timing is actually VVT-iW allowing the engine to run in a modified Atkinson Cycle mode at low RPM. It also has both direct and port injection (D4S) On a recent trip I set cruise for 97kph (60mph) and got 42 MPG US or 5.6L/100km. That’s over 620 miles (1000km) on a full tank.
