Just like, know there are more perspectives than just his. Honestly I really do think NL is those things you said but he's also plenty judgemental and reactionary. And while he can be very nuanced, he can also be very opinionated and sometimes doesn't engage in good faith. Be careful of worshiping the intellect of comedians, the things they say sound more true because they know how to say them in an entertaining way.
